Our chalet in the Black Forest in almost secluded location in the small hamlet Salzenweiler located is idyllically situated on a plateau overlooking meadows and fields and in the adjacent Black Forest.

From here directly go hiking trails and mountain bike trails. The Chalet Salzenweiler - a gem for a family holiday or dog holiday. Here you can relax and enjoy nature.

In 2016, it was painstakingly restored by a Black Forest architect. Here you can spend romantic days in a private ambience for two. With a bit of luck, you might even see a deer jump over in the early morning. A highlight is the barrel sauna, which is just there for you in the garden. Or you can be inspired by the great paintings of a local artist. For your four-legged friend the property is fenced.
During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Central-North Black Forest Nature Park. Laundry facilities are available. The holiday home offers a kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Mooi, fris en schoon vakantiehuis. Mooie locatie, vlakbij het bos. Communicatie met de contactpersoon verliep moeizaam. Was slecht bereikbaar terwijl we de toegangscode van het sleutelkastje nodig hadden. Kwam uiteindelijk wel goed.

Perfect huis met alle voorzieningen. Vooral de rust is heerlijk. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad.Alles keurig aangetroffen en het bed was opgemaakt.We willem zeker nog een keer terugkomen in een ander seizoen.

Alles topp!

Sehr sauberes Haus mit hochwertiger Einrichtung und liebevoller Deko. Es liegt direkt am Wald- und Wiesenrand, was besonders mit Hund super ist. Genau wie der kleine aber feine, eingezäunte Garten. Neue Bäder, gute Küche, guter Kaminofen und besonders die große obere Etage ist sehr beeindruckend. Die Garage war bei den winterlichen Gegebenheiten Gold wert. Mit der Hausverwalterin hatten wir nur telefonischen Kontakt weil alles ok war. Sie war sehr nett. Es gab ein Problem mit dem Trockner, welches aber ohne unser Zutun noch während unseres Besuchs behoben wurde. Was man vielleicht wissen sollte: die Waschmaschine und der Trockner sind in einem Raum neben der Garage, das heißt man muss die Wohnung verlassen um dahin zu kommen. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Also alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in einem schönen Haus!

Letztlich leider enttäuschend

Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten uns dieses Objekt wegen der mit im Titel geworbenen Sauna für ein Wochenende gemietet. Kurz nach Ankunft wurde uns jedoch mitgeteilt, dass es zur Zeit Probleme mit der Sauna gäbe, sie aber funktioniere. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass das nicht der Fall war. Der Bitte von unserer Seite einen Elektriker o.ä. zu schicken, konnte leider nicht nachgekommen werden. Auch die Hausverwaltung oder der Besitzer selbst kam nicht vorbei, um sich das Problem anzusehen, stattdessen musste ich selbstständig umher telefonieren, um letztlich zu erfahren, dass das Problem während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht behoben wird. Nach Aufforderung haben wir einen minimalen Teil der Gesamtkosten erstattet bekommen, welcher aber unserer Ansicht nach nicht im Verhältnis zu den für uns entstandenen Umständen stand. Letzten Endes war das Wochenende für uns mehr als enttäuschend, da wir nur deswegen den Weg über drei Stunden in den Schwarzwald auf uns genommen hatten.

Tolles Haus aber insgesamt zu teuer

Das Haus und die Sauna waren toll und insgesamt war alles wie beschrieben nur in Summe viel kleiner als es auf den Fotos wirkt. Durch die große Sauna ist der Garten eigentlich nur eine Terasse und die Küche und der Wohnbereich sind für 8 Erwachsene und einen Hund schon sehr klein. Das Zimmer im Dach mit dem dazugehörigen Bad hingegen war traumhaft und riesig. Insgesamt wäre es ein tolles Haus ins absolut ruhiger und abgelegener Lage um mit der Familie dort eine ruhige Zeit zu verbringen, für eine Familie ist der Preis allerdings nicht gerechtfertigt. Da wir uns den Preis mit acht Erwachsene geteilt haben, war es ok. Als Familie haben wir aber auch schon Urlaub in einem Nachbarort gemacht, in einer fast doppelt so großen Unterkunft, zwar ohne Sauna aber in vergleichbarer Lage, für den halben Preis. Insgesamt bleibt aber festzuhalten, dass das Chalet in einem einwandfreien Zustand war und wir unsere Zeit sehr genossen haben.
