This house was a good place to stay during our visit to Louisville. The kitchen was adequately furnished, the bedrooms were nice, and the balconies were wonderful. It appears to be an older home, so there were some charms that we encountered that were expected. The heating/cooling is uneven from level to level. The upstairs got hot, the basement got cold. There are fans and space heaters available to mitigate that issue. The electrical is aged, so some light fixtures didn't work or worked poorly. Noise travels through the house, but there was a noisemaker in one of the rooms and we brought some of our own. All windows had blinds, but they were not blackout blinds. The house was bright and sunny when the sun came up. Overall the house was pretty clean, but still found a bit of dust and cobwebs when we opened the blinds or looked under chairs for missing kid's toys. High contact surfaces, beds, and dishes were clean. It's the hard-to-reach places that need some love. The location of this rental is excellent. Street parking was plentiful, but I recommend the alley parking space, especially during peak traffic hours.
