Beautiful facility and wonderful staff. The restaurant downstairs has great food & awesome wine selection. The managers âChristine Brayton & Daniel Fultonâ were extremely great and very accommodating.
I decided to stay ay Hotel Bourre Bonne for my birthday. Upon arrival, the lobby is nice. I wouldn't say luxury as the description provides, but decent. Walking in to the check on desk, there was 1 family being helped and a group of workers on the other side. Stood there for about 10 mins before being greeted and finally someone said "are you checking in?" In my mind I'm thinking "no, I'm just standing here for no reason," I responded yes. It's my birthday and I wanted to check out the new hotel. No response from the check I'm clerk. I ask for all birthday accommodations since it's my birthday. She responded I'll see what I can do. So that set the tone for the service. I get to my room. It's nice, nothing super major. Besides the view of the homeless ppl across the street huddled under a building canopy. I went up to the pool which was the smallest pool I've ever seen at a hotel. The loungers were nice. I did notice electrical tape wrapped around a pole with wires wrapped in electrical tape which looked suspect. Maybe they still have construction that needs to be done. I then went down to three redtaurant for dinner. No wait, no reservations. It was a Sunday so it wasn't busy at all. However, it took 20 mins to get a water that I had to ask for. The waiter brought water that was warm, not even chilled. I asked if he was our waiter and he said no. Another waitress came around and said she would be back with us. We left and went to the lobby bar and ordered dinner there. The fo
Our check in experience was great! Everyone that we came into contact with was extremely attentive. We were told the hotel was working to gain a 5 star rating and we think they have the building to do so, however, overall we did not have a 5 star hotel experience. The room was nicely decorated with a large tv and a king size bed. The room had a cooler but no fridge. Also there is only ice one the second floor, however the ice machine was broken. We were told if we needed ice all we needed to do was call the front desk but this became an issue. Some of the front desk folks we talked to about ice kindly brought it up to our room with no problem. On the other hand others continued to refer us to the ice machines on the second floor (the broken one) and seemed increasingly inconvenienced at our single evening request. We stayed four nights but only had our room cleaned once and only received turn down service once as well. While we thoroughly enjoyed the room cleaning and turn down when we got it the service was inconsistent no matter what time we were in our out of the room. The robes they laid out for us during turndown service were dirty as well. Heads up to anyone staying over the weekend, the club/lounge on the sixth floor is a great experience but if you are not attending be prepared to hear music until midnight if youâre on a high floor. The restaurant downstairs is beautiful, however the food we had was underwhelming and not well seasoned. I have more to say but no space.
Very clean and excellent service. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Top of the line steaks cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Ronnie, was superb!
I requested a fan for our room. They brought an ozone fan. Good thing I read the label that said ânot for occupied spacesâ and that I know about ozone. Could have been a health disaster. Ordered room service and it took 45 minutes to get scrambled eggs, toast and fruit. Every time I needed my car from valet it took 15 minutes.
Iâm a Louisville native. My boyfriend and I chose this hotel for our staycation on the 4th of July. Everything was excellent! The staff are nice and attentive. The pool and omg the showers! They had a party on the rooftop and to watch the fireworks. Great views! This is a great place to stay to enjoy Louisville. Would 100% stay again.
Food was the worst hopefully better menu items with alil more creativity would be amazing the bland chicken with flatbread was pointless. But overall the hotel is amazing
