Highly recommend this property for a group place to stay. Great location and well set up for groups. Outdoor space was nice to have a well since the weather was nice. Host was great and we would come back in a heart beat.
The property was exactly as described in a fantastic, walkable location. The house was stocked with all expected necessities and there was no funny business like we see at many other places. Some light maintenance in various areas and it will be tip top.
Great location and sleeps 10 comfortably. Close to many restaurants and bars. Disappointed by the kitchen (we had two spoons and two forks available for our entire group), quality of upstairs bathroom (doorknob falls off, toilet seat is loose). Also the owner / manager did not communicate with us via chat to resolve the issue.
Firstly many thanks to David for being responsive and giving grace as we traveled via road trip from Atlanta to Kentucky for my daughterâs Masters ceremony arriving much earlier than check in.Secondly, the property was centrally located to downtown where the commencement was and the airport for picking up others. The 5 bdrms was a nice plus for our large group. The one thing I would add as a minor thing would be the locks for the doors (the upstairs bathroom knob fell off a time or two resulting in a guest getting locked in), the lock on the front door took a lil effort to lock/secure). With the barbershop next door we realized there was a strong acetone smell that filled the downstairs. Other than that it makes for the perfect group stay.
We were five couples in town for Bourbon and Beyond. The row house was the perfect place for us and had everything we needed for a great weekend of food and music.
The backyard space was perfect for morning coffees or a night cap after the show. Some great restaurants (Spinelli's!!), funky shopping and a few breweries all within walking distance.
We will be back for our next music festival!!
Nice Stay, But Communication & Minor Issues Need Improvement
The property was beautiful, spacious, and well-located, making it a great value for the area. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we enjoyed the local dining and parking options. However, communication from the host was lackingâwe had to ask for the address and received no response about some issues during our stay. The backdoor lock was faulty, causing security concerns, and the video game system lacked a power cord. Also, only two rolls of toilet paper were provided. Despite these minor setbacks, we still had a great time in Louisville.
The location of this property is amazing. It was 10-15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. The unit was clean, although there were dead gnats and bugs along the window sills, the outdoor grill was not clean, so we didnât use it. We found an iPad in the main bedroom that was probably from a previous guestâŠIâm sure they are looking for it. The video game didnât work, and there was no laundry soap to wash the towels as required for departure. The air unit stopped working in the evening of our last night, messaged the owner and he said he would look into it. One thing needed was a bowl for kitchen prep, we needed to scramble eggs. Owner responded to most of our questions during the stay. The outdoor area is cute, and quiet. The unit looks exactly like the pictures. Great restaurants within walking distanceâŠ.try Ciao you will love it.
The place was clean and tidy. The place was well appointed for the stay. Neighbor is quaint with many places with in walking distance. Easy commute to down town.
David's place is awesome... so modern and clean. We felt like we were the first ones to stay there. And David was responsive on all the questions we had. And parking on the street was indeed easy
This was a great spot for our family!! Tons of cool restaurants within walking distance as well as some great little record shops. Close drive to all the downtown attractions. The house was great with plenty of room. The arcade machine was an added bonus for both the kids and grownups. We will definitely be back when we need to stay in Louisville.
