The house was great and the amenities were wonderful. The host always communicated very quickly if we needed anything. The house was in a great location to be able to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.
Loved our stay at Parris on main.Great house, well stocked. Everyting we needed and more.Great restaurants in shelbyvillle.Bell house and parlay. The house is Well centered to venture out and explore distilleries and wineries. Would absolutely stay at Parris on main again
Very nice property in historic neighborhood. Loved everything. Trip got delayed but was insured all was ok. Close to great places to visit. Will keep talking about our trip for a long time. Thank u to Ms. Parris.
This location was great. House worked for us for the week we were in KY for the bourbon trail. Any issue we had while we were there the property owner corrected.
Well done reno! Historical elements were retained while bringing in modern comforts. Dual hvac zones (up & down). Large, accommodating, modern kitchen and farm dining table were perfect for feeding our large group. Beds are comfy
The house felt like we were staying at a family members. With its old charm and well appointed appliances, we couldnât have asked for more. Perfect location in such a charming town.
Everything you could need is here. Very clean. I would recommend if you are vertically challenged like myself you bring a step stool if you are planning to get in the master bed. I stayed here because it was pet friendly and I was being my dog to Louisville for a surgery. It was perfect for what we needed.
This little (not so little) house is adorable. It was a very nice and relaxing stay. My only complaint is the mattresses were too hard for my liking. Otherwise the host was great and very responsive. The place was clean and well equipt.
This was our first trip to bourbon country. The location was perfect. Great host that went above and and beyond with little extras. Spices were in cabinet and coffee filters for example. Thanks for making our family getaway great!
This was a family trip to the Bourbon Trail, and was an excellent location. Itâs a beautiful home with great potential. While we greatly appreciated the appliances and amenities, the cost of those could have been better spent in the vein of privacy and comfort. The description of the beds misrepresented what was actually found. We have a 6â8â traveler, so a solid king bed is a necessity, and a day bed with a trundle is not that. Only after deep-diving into the listing did we realize that was the case. With very sheer curtains on some of the windows and no curtains at all on others, we felt like everything we were doing inside was on display for all to see. The master bath, while aesthetically pleasing, had several issues. The lack of A/C made a summer vacation miserable while in the bathroom. Beautiful shower, but horrible water pressure. Something has made its home behind one of the walls. Other upstairs bathroom has a blind that doesnât go to the bottom of the window, so people can see in while using the bathroom or before or after showering. There is a gap on the bottom of the side door big enough for spiders and roaches to come in. With a shift in priorities, this could be an outstanding place to stay.
The house was great , it had everything we needed . Location was great , right out the door on Main St. which is Rt. 60 . Five minutes to I64 and 25 minutes to Louisville. A great coffee shop , The Paddock 5 minute walk away. A great central location to do the Bourbon Trail and go sight seeing..Wonderful front porch to sit on and enjoy a cocktail. The host was easy to reach . but we didn't need to . Absolutely loved it and yes we will rent it again !!!
