The hotel was absolutely amazing. The check-in process was very seamless quick and easy. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. The bedroom was very nice bigger than expected. Everything during nice day was absolutely amazing. Will be staying there again.

The Brown Hotel is a beautiful place to stay over the holidays. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate in their restaurant a few times and had fantastic drinks in the bar.

We had to change rules after the bathroom sink got clogged. Once in a room to our liking, the heat stopped working, we were given an electric heater which cost the power and half of the room to go down. At that point there were no other services available as it was close to midnight. We were offered a full refund, but that goes through Expedia so wait and see on that

The hotel was very nice and historic. The rooms could be updated though. But I would definitely stay there again. Lots of history. If you are into haunted hotels you have to stay there. Folks on you tube definitely were right. I smelled a fainted smell of cigars. Even though no one was smoking. Also my wife heard at night the laughter of a woman or girl in the room. No one except my wife and son were there. The staff at the restaurants was extremely friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner there. Dinner was excellent as well. Again if I would be the owner I would restore the lobby and ballrooms to their old glamour and update the rooms to today’s standards.
