Happy stay in Lourdes
The hotel is older but it has an elevator and the room was clean and roomy. Reception was easy and they provided code for after hours entry. Location was great, easy walk to the Grotto and we had a nice view of the castle. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us a complimentary cup of coffee and a beer! Lobby was adequate and there is a pool table. not luxury but good value. Definitely stay there again
Welcoming and excellent value budget hotel.
Decor a little tired but rooms clean and shower etc good. Continental breakfast was top class and a good start to the day. Off street parking nearby. Will use again.
A hotel in an ideal situation. Made welcome despite the tremendous business that was being done. Room was satisfactory. A great respect for noise was shown by school children, who flooded the premises. The breakfast and dinner were very good for the price. Only problem lay with the staff. They were either very good or indifferent. Overall for Lourdes, I will definitely rebook, if I may.

Good value old syle Lourdes hotel
A reasonable stay in old fashioned Lourdes Hotel.
Noisy at night.
Clean well presented bedroom.
well priced and good continental breakfast.
Not expecting much on our budget on this no frills hotel, voila..we were led to an attic room. There was a cabinet full of clean towels, bed sheets, and toiletries. The hotel staff who help carry all our luggage was very cordial. Bracing for the worse, I open the door, and it was a brand new room with it's own separate living room, with modern beautiful furniture, each has it's own heater and own quaint window with view of the dome of Lourdes. Bed were fantastic, firm and soft (must be memory foam). Like all else the bathroom was super clean. Very spacious. We were really tired and saw them eating, so we order dinner, for 10 Euro each, the french cuisine was fantastic, we felt so guilty paying so little we just gave them 10 more for tips, we ate there for our 2 nights stay. Wine was flowing and got free breakfast. Really, we don't know what else anyone would ask for. The beautiful hostess can speak English and Spanish. Was not going to rate them for selfish reason. Shh...best kept secret in Lourdes. It's truly a gold mine. Felt guilty for not tipping the hotel room. Would have willingly paid twice.
The room was huge and comfortable. Close to the Cathedral and shops. We were able to explore Lourdes in the day and had a relaxing sleep at night. Would recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting Lourdes, France.

Cheap and OK
It's a nice and cheap hotel, well situated at 5 minutes walk from the touristic areas. The personal in friendly and always there ready to help, it looked like a family business. The rooms were not renovated since a long time and you could see and smell that even though they are well cleaned each morning. They are also not very large, but OK. The carpet and matress smelled like old cigarette smoke. The bedsheets and towels were white and clean. The view was nice from the small balcony we had. Overall, I think we've got more than we paid for, we've got a really good price.
This a small, family owned hotel. The lobby and hallways were somewhat of a disappointment, but the room was clean and very well appointed. We were there in the off season (mid December), so hotel staff were somewhat sparse; but friendly and cooperative. The location is close to the center of town (near a McDonalds and the tourist center), but is only a 10 minute walk to the Grotto. There are numerous restaurants nearby, although most were closed in December. In short, this is not a high class hotel, but our room was quiet and very comfortable. A tremendous value at 30 Euro a night. (The owner, Dauphine, refused to charge more, even though our reservation via hotel.com cam up with a price of 49.)

choose your room
confortable, but big variation between rooms, we had 2 rooms on the fourth floor and there were a big difference in the renovation of the rooms and comfort. In one of the rooms the toilet was small, very difficult to sit on the toilet and the toilet door was broken. The wall was full of holes from previous drillings. the other room was clean and comfortable.
breakfast was good for lourdes and staff were very helpful
I was very tired when I first arrived and was met with a very welcome cup of coffee. My single room was very comfortable so I had a good night's sleep. Everything in the bathroom worked. I've got absolutely no complaints and would be very happy to stay there again.
The location was also very good indeed for access to the Grotto and the 'Pas de Bernadette' - so it was well placed for walking around all points of interest.
The staff were able to provide information about local points of interest and for what they didn't know there was an excellent Tourist Information Point in the central square.

Great Location.
Our Stay was very good but we had trouble on check in because Hotels.com did not send our Reservation to the Hotel & created a big problem. We were lucky because the Hotel was able to provide us with a room! The Hotel itself is ok and comfortable enough and only 10 mins away from the grotto, which is the main reason for visiting Lourdes Santuary.
Marie Christine, femme d.Eric
