Over all was a really nice stay. Only thing I would say could have been better, was upon arrival we really wanted to take a shower after our long drive but out in the distance we noticed someone was out there in the field. We felt uncomfortable that they may see us so we waited until night time. Also we would have liked to have a campfire at night but the lawn was not mowed so I was afraid of starting a fire but that would have been the cherry on top to end our night.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room and bed were comfortable, cozy and clean. The view of the hills is very serene. The kitchen and toilet are outside (although enclosed from wind) so it was quite chilly at 37 degrees in the morning to be boiling water. However, that added to the sense of adventure. Everything is closer to the road than I expected but the traffic died down at night so that it wasn't too disruptive.
Perfect place for my night out of town. The host was very communicative and friendly. The tiny home was warm and cozy and I really enjoyed showering out in nature under the stars! I wanted to get out of Eugene for the night and this was only a half hour drive away, but it felt like I was hours way from the city. Really large space and the view from the front porch in the morning and sunrise was also a highlight. Will be back for sure!
I made a last minute booking because my kittens were getting fixed and I live on the Oregon Coast. The vet is in Veneta; a hop, skip & a jump from the Love Cabin. This off grid home is quite a charmer. Walking through the swinging gate brings you into the back yard, which is well-appointed with table, umbrella & chairs. There's also a couch, flush up against the cabin and other chairs as well. The interior is comfy and includes a California king (which I loved because I'm a 6'0" woman).
Megan responds quickly to messages & was kind in our conversations.
I'll definitely be back if Pickles & Sal need over night stays again at the vets.
