Air conditioner didn’t work and we didn’t discover this fact until after we fell asleep!! Woke up to the room 80 degrees!!!! Had to leave early for a flight so we just dealt with it. Went to check out and then complain but the man behind the counter just looked up at me from his seat in the corner of the front office and then went back to playing some game on his phone!!! Totally ignored that was there!!! I will NEVER use this hotel again!!!

The room smelled like marijuana when we arrived. There were no towels. They said we would not get towels until 10 or 11 the next day because housekeeping left for the day. I said check out was 11 so we can’t shower so they went into another room with a couch that looked like a private room to give me towels. When we went to sleep, there was a red stain on the white blanket that was rather large. We slept without it. Hair was in the shower. I asked them if they had cleaned our room since there were no towels and it smelled of marijuana and they said yes which clearly wasn’t true. The door lock would jam. They still haven’t credited my deposit and it has been 4 days. The pool looked cloudy. The tv wouldn’t change channels. There were sheets you could see through because they were so worn down. Almost no outlets. It was a disaster. Complete nightmare.

I booked a smoke free room , the room smelled like a smokers house. They moved me no problem. New room had a dog turd and the restroom was not clean. Wiped down maybe but not clean.

I don't normally give a bad review maybe disappointment but this days inn and another one I found in the Lubbock TX area was ghetto. The smell of old building and mildew. Very questionable. These hotels owned by middle east Indians do not take care of their businesses. They fix things themselves or hire cheap labor. Dirty carpet, plumbing problems, roof and water damage. City should inspect for update codes and health inspection as well as fire inspection. Never again will I ever stay at these hotels.

Scary and Unsettling

The hotel could not issue keys so we could not leave w/o leaving the door open. The air conditioning did not work at all and there was no bath shampoo and conditioner. Carpet didn’t feel clean and it was overall an uneasy feeling staying in the room. I slept on top of the sheets
