Nice place. Nice view. Clean. Quite room.
Only issue, water in the room could be hotter, so it last longer. If they turned up the tank temperature, you wouldnât need to put the shower on just hot water and it would last 2x as long.
When we arrived the restaurant was closed. The owners made us a meal. Suggestion: The website should indicate when the restaurant closes for dinner. Other wise it was a great experience and we hope to return next year.
We came to Lubec as the town was preparing for winter and lots shuts down. None of the restaurants in town were open for dinner so in the common area we were all taken care of with fresh cheeseburgers and coleslaw for a mere $10 no one went hungry! The room was very nice and very clean! I would absolutely stay there again!
The room was clean and comfortable, with amazing views. We had a bottom room, so the sound really traveled from above, but overall, it was a great stay! And dinner at the restaurant was so good!
A quaint facility in an old cannery building. Rooms were roomy but long and a little narrow - obviously repurposed from the building's earlier life. Coffee and a full size fridge were in a common area, shared by all guests. The place is a little spartan, but that's also part of its charm. If you need to stay in the very sleepy town of Lubec, this place is fine for a night. Note that on-premises parking is quite limited, but it was easy to find a spot on the street nearby.
I stayed in the Bayview suite, it was absolutely gorgeous with my own private porch, overlooking the water. What a great little restaurant and a place to grab a quick drink. Everybody at the hotel was extremely helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay again.
We loved the Inn on the Wharf. The rooms are very basic but clean and smell clean. The water in the shower was hot and so nice. We had a view of the water from our room which was spectacular. The rooms do not have mini fridges but there is a common room that has a full kitchen and refrigerator and you can label your food and keep it there. We cooked both dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Fishermanâs wharf restaurant is attached to the Inn and had amazing seafood. Overall a great experience.
We loved everything about this stay! An ocean view room speaks for itself. If you are old enough to remember the Newhart show, that's the vibe - friendly, comfy, safe, relaxed, restaurant just feet away, staff that checks in on you - it was perfect. It's a short drive to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse (beautiful!) and Monica's Chocolates (delightful!). It's also very close to Campobello, if you have your passport handy.
Truly the most unique place we have ever stayed. Literally right on the ocean. Beautiful view. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Attached restaurant. Had a blueberry margarit and a lobster. Perfect.
