The Tuscan beaches of Versilia and Viareggio are also within easy reach, both approximately a 25-minute drive away (50 minutes by train), and Forte dei Marmi a 35-minute drive (50 minutes by train). Other popular excursions include visits to Florence which is approximately a one-hour drive away (1 hour 40 minutes by train) and Pisa which is a 25-minute drive (45 minutes by train). The cities of Prato and Pistoia, both known for their domes are both approximately a 40-minute drive away or an hour by train.
