Staff they were good. Hotel was very very noisy and very hot no air conditioning the size of bathroom and shower very small you can’t get to shower to wash yourself and when you complain they say we have only 21 rooms and we are lucky we got room because this city very small with a few Hotels🤔they don’t even let you know we booked our room with breakfast they tell us you should know but if you want to buy is $15.00 per person…….

It was in a great location by the lake, very accessible to the train station as well as shopping and food. Very clean and nice staff. Had everything we needed for a nice stay in Lucerne.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location is excellent — close to many restaurants and conveniences. However, the hotel is situated above a shop on a busy street, which can be very noisy at night. There is no air conditioning, so during a heatwave, the room became almost unbearable. Unfortunately, keeping the windows open for ventilation only made the noise worse. Great service and location, but be prepared for potential discomfort in hot weather.

Close to all

Our room was clean and had nice amenities such as free bottled still and sparkling water available. The room was spacious but the bathroom was slightly cramped and the entrance to the shower was narrow. The bed was large and comfortably firm with nice bedding and pillows. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear the excitement in the alley below into the late evening. There was no AC but there was a nice ceiling fan that we used. This hotel has a restaurant and its entrance is along a larger alley whereas the hotel lobby entrance is down a narrow alley toward the lake. The first time we entered we inadvertently came through the restaurant. The hotel is in close proximity to several restaurants and shops. It was easy to walk to the train station as well.

The room was clean and the location was great. The employees were quite courteous and the restaurant food was good. However, the room was also quite cramped with the shower being exceptionally small. With no AC we had to open the window. Unfortunately, the noise both from the hotel restaurant and the restaurant next door made so much noise we had to close it and the room became stifling. The restaurants stay open late and then their cleanup lasted until midnight.

Spotlessly clean and excellent staff service. Being in the old town, plus a listed building, it couldn’t have AC, so we found it rather warm. Ceiling fan and window open helped but then it was quite noisy (but we live in a really quiet place, so not used to it). Would still recomnend

Great hotel with character

Great location within walking distance of all attractions great breakfast restaurants for dinner was also great. Reception really helpful as we arrived early and bags were waiting in the room when we got back from sightseeing

The room sizes were adequate and clean but air quality was not good, we had to open windows (no A/C) to let fresh air as we were uncomfortable. Good Location as it was closer to the station and good restaurants nearby, would recommend the Italian restaurant below the hotel.

BEWARE!! Staff are rude and not accommodating at all. The shower in the bathroom isn’t feasible for anyone, right on top of the toilet and you can’t properly open the doors to get it. There is absolutely NO ROOM to shower. NO AC, awfully hot in room and when you open the windows you can’t sleep at night because of the extreme noise level from all the restaurants and bars. People screaming and singing in the alleys all night long. This place is a dump and not worth the money, SKIP THIS PLACE!!!
