Charming is the location above a pub, like a traditional British public house. The view of the harbor is great; there's a wingback chair in front of a bay window. The room is called the Bluenose and has a scale replica of the famous ship which you can see from the window. We were within walking distance of everything. Parking is a real problem in high season. The matress is old and needs to be replaced.
This inn is a very dated waterfront property. Entrance is right off the street but there is no front desk; signs point you to check in downstairs at the pub. She gave us our room keys and that was the last we saw of staff. Entrance into the inn doesn’t appear to be secure? Staff didn’t explain if the main door would be locked after hours, how to get in, or how to contact anyone in an emergency, but fortunately it wasn’t required. Windows don’t open to allow fresh air but we did book a balcony; which is directly visible from the restaurant/pub next door. Shower was a stand-up shower (not a tub). The beds were sooooo saggy and the pillows so lousy. There wasn’t a bedside lamp so no reading in bed for me. Housekeeping did refresh the towels and soap but didn’t make the beds? I dunno what I expected but something a bit more quaint, cozy and updated would have been a real plus. It was clean, and we had a nice view of the Bluenose II and harbour but the dock lights shine right into the room. Boo.
Great location, right in town among all the restaurants and bars. Small room but it had all we needed, with a bonus of a view of the harbour, which was ideal.
We were so happy that we switched our original hotel to here at Brigatine. It is the best spot to be and was so central to enjoying the harbor area! Food at the adjacent restaurants was also top notch!! We were sad to go. While parking is not provided, it was easy enough to find street parking

The location was great. Our room was located on the third floor above a restaurant. It was quiet and simple, just what we needed. It was just a few steps to restaurants and all there is to see in Lunenburg.
This was a neat little hotel in the middle of Lunenburg looking down at the Bluenose II from our balcony. Also had a Craft Brewery right outside of our door.
The only negative is the size of the bathroom - pretty small.
There is only street parking, also the bed was not very comfortable. The showet in the room with the balcony was very tight if you are a bigger person. But restaurant and bar were excellent which are right next door.
The Inn was convenient & the view was great. The bed was not very comfortable & although the carpet was dark, I could still see stains. The hallway going up the stairs needs to be repainted. Parking is not convenient.

It’s all on street paid parking from 10am -5pm. There’s no designated lot. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot out front, if not you’ll have to pull over unload your luggage then drive around till you find a spot. Extremely inconvenient. Check in is downstairs with any waitress. Rooms are very clean, little out dated but the price was right (American money). Restaurant & bar is very clean, the staff is extremely wonderful & friendly. Food is delicious. Other than the parking, I’d recommend the Brigatine Inn for a short stay.
Great spot to stay when visiting Lunenburg! Such a great view of the harbour. Liz at the Grand Banker Restaurant below was awesome! Thanks for the great service, we hope to be back!

We had booked this hotel because of where it was located. We arrived in a rain storm, only to find out that they do not have parking. I called the hotel and ask them where we should park. The girl who answered the phone told me to drive around and I should be able to find a parking spot. When I told her I was travelling with my 81 year old mother, she didn't offer any suggestions.
We spent about 30 minutes driving around but we couldn't find anything within 3 blocks of the hotel. We ended up not using the hotel and finding another place to stay.
This room, it’s a stretch to call it a hotel, was adequate for a quick one night stay. No lobby, no registration desk, no elevator. You check in at a bar in a restaurant! It’s in the heart of all the action in gorgeous Lunenberg. The AC worked. The price was right. It’s all I needed for a quick stop. It would have been nice to know there was no elevator. Lots of stairs, especially the trek down to the bar to register. The location is excellent though. There is no parking available you have to look in the surrounding streets.
No parking, no breakfast, next to equipment room with noise 24 hrs a day creating excessive heat through the bathroom wall, half the room rug is black from street dirt, wifi intermittent and slow, expensive.
