The cabin is beautifully situated at the base of the mountains. It is 10-12 minutes from downtown Luray. It has all the basics for a simple stay. While I realize that there are bound to be some insects that make their way inside a rural cabin, the number of bugs was more than I could handle. We must have killed half a dozen stink bugs each day, along with several spiders and other crawlers. One morning, we woke up to worms on the bedroom, kitchen, and living room floor! I'm not sure how the worms wiggled their way in, but the other bugs get in from an ill-fitting window A/C unit in the bedroom. The queen bed could use some repairs (we arrived to find sawdust and screws lying in the floor under the bed), and the mattress sinks. Internet access is spotty; sometimes it works well, while other times it doesn't work at all. It is difficult to get the GPS working when the internet is out.
