Our 2200+ sq ft house boasts unbeatable panoramic views of the majestic Shenandoah River with private riverfront access only a few feet away. Our section of the river is stunning, stretching about 75 feet wide and is literally just a few steps away from the house!

Conveniently located, this family-friendly relaxing retreat is 20 minutes from downtown Luray and within 30 mins to all major attractions - Shenandoah Natl. Park (Thornton Gap), Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, etc. For a nearby landmark, it is located approximately 3 minutes away by car from Shenandoah River Outfitters (6502 S Page Valley Rd, Luray, VA 22835).

Included: all basic amenities, coffee/tea K-cup, brand new indoor slippers, towels, hotel-quality toiletries, fast Starlink Wi-Fi (one of the few properties in the area to have this). We also provide free access to streaming TV (Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and Hulu) as well as firewood for the fire pit.

★ Outside
Shiloh Lodge is situated just a few feet away from the shores of the Shenandoah River, giving you an unparalleled close-up and panoramic view of the beautiful river. Custom built steps provide easy, private access into the waters. The fire pit in the backyard is situated right along the river bank. Firewood is provided for free.

The house has a wrap-around deck which faces towards the river. An outdoor propane grill is provided for BBQs, which can be enjoyed at our outdoor dining table along with a chaise lounge set. A motorized retractable awning provides great shade when it gets too sunny out.

★ Great Room
The Great Room is the perfect gathering place for families and friends alike and includes both the living room and the dining area. Full length glass sliding doors line the side of the room facing the river and provides panoramic views of the Shenandoah from the inside. Four rocking chairs are provided for your use to enjoy the view.

Comfortable sofa and couches surround the mantle piece which contains a gas fireplace next to a large 65" Samsung 4K UHD TV. Netflix, HBO-Max, Hulu, and Disney+ are provided for free. On rainy days, you can enjoy quiet reading from our library collection, yoga, or play a wide selection of provided board games.

For those who like to cook, the open kitchen comes fully equipped with a wide assortment of pots and pans, including a griddle, waffle maker, mixer, blender, and bakeware. For coffee/tea lovers, we have a Keurig K-Duo coffee maker (K pods provided) as well as stove-top espresso, french press, and tea kettles.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
⦿ No unregistered day or overnight guests are allowed. Additional unregistered guests will be charged at $100 per guest per night.
⦿ No smoking inside or within 10 feet of the house outside. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750 Ozone cleaning fee.
⦿ No parties or events. If you host a party or event with unregistered day or overnight guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately.
⦿ No pets allowed. Sorry. We have allergies and can't have pets in the house. If you bring a pet you will be charged $500.00 and an additional $250.00 ozone and cleaning fee.
⦿ Brand new spa-qualify slippers for your party are provided for indoor use. Please leave your shoes in the shoe trays near the door.
⦿ Critters: Nestled in nature, the home may occasionally attract harmless bugs like stink bugs. Please keep doors and windows closed to help minimize their visits.
⦿ We strongly recommend guest purchase Trip Protection insurance such as CFAR or whatever suits your personal needs (weather, COVID, other trip issues).

My daughter and I wanted a quiet getaway so we could just push back and recharge. Shiloh was perfect. The property is exactly as the pictures depict though it was much larger than I had expected. The house is pristine and had a beautiful, clean scent throughout. The bedrooms were comfortable and sitting areas were plentiful. We opted to stay in place and just enjoy the amazing views of the river. It was perfect for our needs. A big plus - any questions I had were responded to promptly by Diana. It was nice knowing she was readily available for any needs. Shiloh gets high marks all the way around.

This was a great cabin right on the river! It was so easy to get to. The priority is beautiful and it was so peaceful. The fire pit was nice to chill at the end of the day. The accommodations at the cabin were plentiful .I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

This is one the nicest, cleanest properties we’ve stayed, ever. It was well taken care of, very clean, in a great location, and well stocked. We’ve been coming to Luray for many years and have stayed in many homes. This is at the top of our list and we will definitely be coming back. Communication with the owners was great and this was a wonderful trip. We only wish it was longer!

Our family of 8, including 4 kids and 2 grandparents, enjoyed this property! It's a bit off the beaten path (which is what we were looking for) - we all enjoyed the canoes/kayak, my boys brought their fishing stuff, and we all loved the porch and firepit. The house was very well stocked, making it easy to prepare a few meals in the kitchen/on the grill! I loved that there was a washer/dryer and all the details were thought of... from bathroom supplies, to games/books, and everything we needed to enjoy our time. We were in the area for Shenandoah and the Luray Caverns, and the drive to each wasn't too far and was quite pretty. Thank you for a great place to stay!!

Shenandoah River House

The river is beautiful. The deck seating is set up in such a way that it is easy to just relax. One of the best features is the awning that gives wonderful shade as you watch canoers go by or just enjoy the view. Another real advantage with the property is how easy it is to get information that you may need. "Can you tell me where there is a pitcher?" Got an answer back right away. And it was right where they said it would be. I hated to leave and hope to be back. I highly recommend this home.

Great property with wonderful views

The house was very clean and well laid out. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The deck was great for sitting out with coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The adirondack chairs right on the river, with the firepit were a great way to enjoy the views of the Shenandoah River and the mountains in the distance. Found several good restaurants and shops in Luray. Enjoyed visiting Luray Caverns which are not too far away. Host Diana was very responsive to all my inquiries. I would stay here again.

Shiloh lodge is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos. It is an extremely cozy and homey place to stay that is full of amenities and conveniences. Access to the water could not be easier. And the included boats were in good condition. The internet signal was great. Everything was extremely clean and the inclusion of a washer and dryer is a great bonus. The host was incredibly kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. 10/10 would recommend.

Great family vacation

A home away from home! We had a fabulous stay - doing day hikes in the national park (Thornton Gap is an easy 30min drive) and spending family time cooking, playing games in the evenings. We appreciated all the nice details Diana arranged for our stay. So glad we chose this location!

Beautiful river front spot. Kids and adults jumped into the canoes and kayaks and had a blast while we stoked a fire. Great spot and Luray is our favorite town in the country low hills in VA.

It’s a huge and beautiful house.It’s very Clean and convenient. They have basic seasonings in the house. Tons of board games. We had a great time cooking outside at the fire pit. Fantastic spot!

Perfect vacation retreat on the river

Amazing location, beautiful views, fantastic hosts.

We had the best time at Shiloh Lodge, the location and house are both fantastic. The view of the river can't be beat, and the house is beautiful. I worked from the house a bit, and the Starlink worked flawlessly. Everyone was comfortable and really enjoyed disconnecting and being out with Nature. The river doesn't really get deep, so the kids were able to stand up and explore just about the entire way across, canoeing and kayaking was enjoyable, and we got some fishing in too! Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were great as well, we used a handful of them and they were always spot on. Really glad we chose this house and location! Thanks Diana!

The Perfect Place

This is the second time we have stayed at Shiloh Lodge. We have stayed at many different cabins along this stretch of the river and Shiloh is definitely one of the nicest. It is clean, well decorated and the location on the river can't be beat. Diana goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as it can get. Don't hesitate to book this place, you won't regret it!!!
