Good Stay

Had a pleasant stay at Luray's Quality Inn. It is an older building trying to stay up to date. Our room (209) was comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay here again. The restaurant (Alexander's) was fantastic (we only ate breakfast here).

For the price, you can't beat the location in regards to the caverns and it's right on the edge of the little town. It was very clean! You can tell that they have been doing some updates and still have more to do, but it's a small hotel with a very clean pool. I would have liked the restaurant be open for dinner and not just breakfast, but there is a great Italian restaurant right there and the Mimslyann Inn is up the hill which has GREAT food!

I had thought that the breakfast said free, but it said “fee”. That’s on me. However, the first light switch entering the room is missing a faceplate (hazard), and when i went to hang my towel in the bathroom, the towel rack came right down. The metal piece in the wall is missing a screw.

This is an older motel but AC worked well and there was plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed and a TV with remote that was EASY to use lol. I was there 4 nights for a work trip and it met my needs just fine.

Check in was easy and staff person was extremely helpful. Room was nice and comfortable and clean. Although not enough Toilet Paper. Outside needs cleaning up especially in breezeway where garbage is keep and ice machine. Pool needs major repairs. Nice lobby area.

Would be Five Stars with some Renovations

Great location if you’re visiting Luray Caverns. Hotel is old and in need of updates. Patches to ceiling and walls. Doors had chips etc. Bathroom was a little dirty but other areas of the room were clean. No complimentary breakfast but there is an onsite restaurant for breakfast. Staff was friendly. Parking was easy and close.

This property is to be expected for the location and price. It can use some deep cleaning. My room had a odor, a few spider webs in ceiling, and a little mold in bathroom. Bed was clean and cozy. I brought cleaning supplies with me so i was able to manage for the weekend. The restaurant on site was top notch the food was delicious that was the best part of our stay.

The restaurant downstairs is good, and there's walkable access to some very good stuff in the area. There were a good number of flying ants outside that got into the room, but that's more of a function of the area than the hotel. Other than that the room was quite clean. We did have a small issue with our shower, which wouldn't get entirely hot because the handle was jammed.
