I was deeply disappointed by my experience at this hotel, particularly regarding the service and room conditions. The lobby experience was frustrating; not only was the staff unsupportive when I requested small change, but the exchange rate offered was predatory. I was offered only 2,000 EGP for $50 USD, which is nearly 400 EGP less than the official bank rate.
The room itself was in a state of neglect. The property is very dated, featuring worn-out and half-broken furniture that makes the stay feel unmaintained. My experience was further marred by several hygiene and infrastructure issues:
Sanitation Concerns: There was a persistent musty smell coming from the shower water, and the bed sheets were clearly stained upon arrival.
Pest Issues: I was shocked to find small bugs appearing on the bed, which is completely unacceptable.
Poor Connectivity: Despite being a major hotel, the Wi-Fi does not function in the rooms at all; it is only available in the lobby, which is highly inconvenient for modern travelers.
I would strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere for better value and more hygienic accommodations in the area
