Service was embarrassing. Writing this as a pretty experienced traveler, my husband and I were shocked at how bad the service was. Rude, condescending, and just honestly seemed to not care about anything we asked for/said. They had no bandaids lol. We couldn’t sit at our own hotel’s restaurant for lunch when we arrived because we had to make a reservation. Mind you, this is a no frills restaurant/cafe. The breakfast was at least decent. Good location. The people who worked at the hotel were the worst part. They look at you as if you’re stupid just for existing/being American. Maybe my husband and I look young but he’s a surgeon and I’m an attorney. Do not treat us like some idiot teenagers.

This place was absolutely beautiful, very clean and you could just tell it was very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, easy to walk around, catch a bus, or train. AC worked great, shower pressure and temp were perfect. We spent only one night here at the end of a three week trip and regretted not staying longer, as it was our favorite!

Stayed here for only one night. It was a rainy day so unfortunately having the view of the river was not as nice as we would have wanted. Can’t choose the weather, though! It is a lovely hotel in a great area of Vieux Lyon, just around the corner from a really good wine bar. Went downstairs for coffee - it was delicious - and we had it with some praluline we bought the day before!

Property is very nice - lovely decor. Service was great plenty of amenities and clean. Only suggestion is to add some fabric softener to the towels (I know that’s kind of picky)

The hotel is in the very best location. Right on the river in the middle of Vieux Lyon. A 15 minute walk to all of the main attractions. The beds were comfortable and our river view room was very amble in size, with two sinks in the bathroom. The high ceilings made it feel especially large. The windows were two separate soundproof pieces and there was zero street noise in our room even though we were on the 1st floor.

Almost Perfect...But

Amazing location. Lovely property. The riverside view rooms, though, come at a price...noise from the bars below all night. Enjoyed as much of Lyon as we could manage on 2-3 hours of sleep each night. Wont go back...peaceful sleep is important.
