We stayed at this Lytle Creek rental to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! Expansive, peaceful, and with direct access to the creek that made it feel like a true mountain escape just outside the city. My 89 year old grandma was able to safely walk around the backyard each morning and even make her way down to the water, which was amazing. My fur babies also absolutely loved roaming around the backyard! We enjoyed everything the home had to offer and had our family dinners on the grill and spent the evenings in the hot tub and the dry sauna, which made the trip feel like a private retreat. So relaxing! Communication with Sam, the host, was also excellent and made the whole process smooth and easy. My only wish is that the rental could accommodate more guests, because I’d love to return with even more of my friends next time! Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

Relaxing weekend getaway!

This house was great but the backyard was even better! You can access the creek from the backyard and it was so nice and refreshing. The jacuzzi and the sauna were great, I loved how nice the sauna was. The host also told us about the Bonita falls hike. It was about a mile and a half and wabout

Tranquil Getaway

I was thoroughly impressed with this property all around! The main attraction was the real creek that is accessible to from the backyard. It was private and serene. However I was even more impressed with the dayspa-like backyard that included a sauna, hot tub and ice plunge. The sauna in particular was impressive--it could fit many people and was very well maintained. Other highlights of the property are the fire pit and multiple dining areas outside. The home was clean and cozy and I loved that the property was fully fenced and dog friendly. Overall, it's the perfect getaway for a couple friends or family looking for tranquility and relaxation.

Hidden Gem in Southern California

Best get away trip ever. Enjoyed all the amenities including drinks. I never knew that there was stream flowing 356 days year in Southern California. Hot sauna and cold dip into the backyard stream was awesome! Recommend to everyone.

What a surprise!

House was very clean, comfortable and private. Each room has extra beds. There were jacuzzi, dry spa, BBQ area in the back yard. Stream was cold and lots of water. This back yard stream was good enough reason to get away here, but we found hidden fall and that was really good memory. About 30 min. walking from the house to the fall. This was wild experiance to walk the hidden way to go to the "Hidden Falls" It was pleasure 2 nites, and it is just one hour 20 min away.

Nature with all the amenities

Our stay here was great! The property inside was clean and modern, and Sam was amazingly communicative! Awesome host! The best part (for us) was the water. You could hear it from the house, and the kids enjoyed going down to the creek. We also BBQed and used the firepit to make s'mores. Spa was also a hit with my teen daughter. There is a convenience store and restaurant just up the way. In a word, my husband described it as "rustic." Different vibe, but serves its purpose. The food was good, and the store had what we needed, so you dont have to drive back down the mountain. If you want to experience nature with retreat inside nearby, this is the spot for you.

Fantastic!

We give this vacation home and the host a 10/10! The house is very clean and has everything that we needed. The water stream in the backyard is our favorite! Very relaxing! In addition, the fire pit, bbq kitchen, jacuzzi, and sauna are equally great! Sam, the host, is awesome! It was very easy to reach out to him when we had questions. He made sure that we were doing fine and comfortable, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. My family had an awesome time at this place. Planning for our next trip back!

Amazing Vacation Opportunity

Such a beautiful location and so much to do! We enjoyed every part of this stay, but especially the outdoors area. The creek was perfect for the summer weather and our group loved using the sauna, hot tub, and barbecue. Communication with the host was also phenomenal, he was very welcoming and helped us with any questions we had. This will definitely be a memorable stay!

My Favorite Getaway

I experienced the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility, Lytle Creek Villa. This charming home offers direct access to a year-round running creek right in the backyard, with crystal-clear water flowing from a mountain spring. It's like having a slice of Yosemite within reach, yet just 50 miles from Los Angeles. It provided me and my friend with a secluded mountain retreat. I Fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the creek, which is an unparalleled experience. This location represents the ideal combination of accessibility and peace, making it my favorite spot for a relaxing getaway.

Paradise a short drive to Disneyland

We had an absolutely wonderful stay the scenery was fantastic. The house was big, clean and inviting the gas stove was magnificent, but I don’t know if that was better or the huge grill in the backyard. We spent the night hanging out in the hot tub and the sauna, then moving over to the fire pit
 We were able to take a short drive to Disneyland for one of the days with no problem ! my daughter and I walked up and down the creek and we almost caught a trout 10 out of 10 we will definitely definitely be coming back. Thank you Sam.!!!

The Most Perfect Getaway

This was truly the most perfect getaway for me and my family. With two granddaughters under 3 years old, we couldn’t go too far but Sam’s property was perfect- not too far up the mountain, but just enough where we were surrounded by nature and felt like we were out of the city. Instructions were clear and check-in was super easy. We had everything we needed to spend a few days inside- with snacks, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, knives, sauna, jacuzzi, warm blankets, huge TV, and I could go on. They even provided a pack n play which was perfect for my infant granddaughter. My mother-in-law also came, so there were 4 generations spending time together at this property and we were so comfortable. Would highly recommend for family getaways!

Exactly what we needed

This a very beautiful and clean house in peaceful environment. We were looking for a getaway from the busy LA which isn’t too far and also peaceful and this house was exactly what we needed. There’s not many houses around, just couple of them , zero traffic surrounded by nature and it was so peaceful. The best part was the creek in the backyard which was accessible only to us. We went here with young kids and they equally had fun. There’s one market/restaurant within 5 minutes drive and we found everything we needed to make a quick and easy lunch at home. The host was super friendly and always answered our texts whenever we needed any kind of help. Highly recommend this place to anyone

What a Hidden Gem!

Our family of four stayed two nights and had two family/friend groups visit and hang for the day. We had such an amazing time. This location has everything you need! We cannot wait to visit again. We highly recommend. It is super close to bonita falls. And the creek on the backyard is magical.
