My partner and I are travelling Australia in a rooftop tent and canopy. We stayed 5 nights at this BnB and were thoroughly impressed! Quite small but perfect for a couple wanting to get away, very cosy and would love to see it in winter. Has everything you need for your stay and plenty of places nearby just a short drive away. Check-in procedure very simple, has a washing machine/dryer combo and small clothes rack, all kitchen utensils, and a microwave oven. We enjoyed our stay, was really nice and peaceful. Definitely recommend!!
Cute and cosy it was the perfect launchpad for us to explore the Hills from Mt Barker to Pt Elliot. The kitsch design of the mezzanine bed was a real novelty and the facilities were top notch. Very reasonably priced it is a great option for those wanting a quiet time away within a short drive from the city.
My partner and I stayed here for 4 days just after Christmas, and we would absolutely go again! The house is nice and cosy, it's a perfect size for 2 people, there's plenty of mood lighting, and directions for how to use everything were on the walls which definitely helped us (plus the magnets on the back of remotes so you can put them on the wall - genius!!). The house is isolated enough for complete peace, but is also 10-15 mins away from Murray Bridge, so it's extremely convenient. Communication with the homeowner was also wonderful - we had a power outage while we were there, and Eddy let us know when it went out and when it was back on, which we both appreciated a lot.
Our only recommendations for future is to potentially get more cutlery in the drawers, as there was only one set of cutlery for each of us; and some more pot lids would be very handy as well. Otherwise, an absolutely perfect little spot for some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and we'll definitely be back again!
It is a lovely quiet location. Difficult to find in the dark but we arrived very late. Lots of extras provided. Comfy lounge area and nice bathroom. Bed is a little difficult to access for a couple in their 70's, steep steps and far side only accessible by climbing over my spouse. Other than that being a bit tricky for us, we enjoyed our stay there.
