Environ 2200 pieds carrés dans cette suite accessoire, situé dans la belle communauté du lac Gaston gated de Harbor Landing où les vues sont en millions de dollars et les maisons sont tous spectaculaires! La grande chambre principale dispose d'un lit king-size à baldaquin et les chambres secondaires disposent de lits queen et table de chevet (avec des tiroirs). La suite de chambre principale dispose de deux aires de repos confortables et une belle salle de bain principale, ainsi qu'une télévision murale. Les deux avant-chambres offrent une vue remarquables lac avant. La troisième et quatrième chambre (salle de théâtre) ont aussi une vue sur le lac, mais ne sont pas des chambres face au lac. La salle de théâtre dispose d'une télévision de 55 pouces murale à écran plat, un canapé-lit et un siège supplémentaire. La cuisine bien équipée est lumineux, ouvert et aéré. Le salon dispose de sièges en cuir, d'une télévision à écran plat et d'un mur de fenêtres donnant sur le lac Gaston. En fait, assis à l'intérieur de la maison ou sur la terrasse, vous vous sentez comme vous êtes réellement au bord de l'eau! Laveuse et sécheuse sont inclus est un jeu Graco Pack n 'et une chaise haute. Au bord du lac, une maison de bateau avec des zones d'amarrage pour votre bateau et / ou votre / vos motomarine (s) dispose d'un solarium ainsi que de coins ombragés. Le kayak est là pour votre usage, mais veuillez fournir vos propres gilets de sauvetage et le verrouiller avant votre départ. La profondeur de l'eau au large de la remise à bateaux est d'environ 16 pieds! Donc, ne hésitez pas à sauter à droite!

Environ un demi-mile de la maison, il ya un lancement de la communauté pour la facilité d'obtention de votre bateau et / ou PWC pour le hangar à bateaux.

The property is lovely and well stocked (nice sheets and towels, plenty of dishes). Great outdoor spaces and beautiful sunsets! Check in and out and all communications were easy. We would definitely return.

This place is really beautiful. The house is spacious with a large kitchen and Main bedroom. We went for Thanksgiving and it was just perfect.

Perfect Small Lake Front Stay

We had yet another wonderful stay here. This is our third time. The upgraded boat house is wonderful. Always clean and owner is very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions.

Amazing vacation

We've stayed here a few times...it's amazing! They have done some updates and upgrades. The new rooftop deck on the the boat dock is perfect for evenings. The kids loved jumping off it as well. It's beautiful inside and out with great views of the lake and sunsets. We love staying here during the summer!

Comfortable and spacious accommodations. Right on the lake. Literally only a few steps down which is an incredible treat. South side of the lake which allows for longer daylight time. Incredible experience!

We took our grands. They are tweens. Had a relaxing stay. Watched movies, sunsets, grilled, and built fires in the fire pit. Had s’mores by the fire after dinner. It was a clear night and magical.

Amazing View

Beautiful home with an amazing porch and dock. Large, well-stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking in. Comfortable bedrooms and plenty of lounging space. Definitely off the grid - so be sure to bring anything you may need. Suggest bringing along some beach chairs for the dock if you want to spend time down there. We had a great weekend and would definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing lake property!

We couldn’t have loved our stay at this gorgeous house any more. The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. From then on, we spent every moment outside that we possibly could. When we weren’t boating, we floated on the lily pad, used the kayak, and jumped off the dock countless times. We ate meals either on the porch or out on the top deck of the dock. We loved using the fire pit on the porch and grilling a couple of our dinners. We even sat on the porch during a complete downpour and were able to watch the storm roll in and out. Communicating with Marianne was easy and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again if we are able to come back to Lake Gaston next year!

House was nice. Outside was filthy, and that is where you wanted to be. Grill filthy. Dock was nice. Neighbor loud, I have had better experience, for the amount of money I expected more.

Exceptional location and absolutely beautiful views of the lake. Spent our 20th Anniversary away from the 'real world' and escaped to this wonderful place. Marianne even surprised us with a nice bottle of wine to celebrate our 20th; something we have never experienced anywhere else. It's those little touches that make it special. Even though it was December we spent a little time on the boat dock just soaking up the place, and in the evenings totally enjoying the theater room with surround sound. Of course the views of the lake drinking our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening there are no words to describe that beauty. Very nice layout, furnishings, and it is stocked well for anyone's needs. We will definitely be back.

Bait & switch but lovely

We arrived at the residence to find we were staying in the basement apartment not the entire home. Though it was done very nicely, that fact was never mentioned in the ad. The kitchen was well equipped and had some things left from other peoples stays, in both the cupboards and fridge. The exterior of the basement entrance was covered in spider webs with I wasn't thrilled with. The sheets in the master were the roughest sheers I have ever slept on. I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter. The lake itself was delightful. We were surrounded by other cottages that provided inflatable floating trampolines and such so it was a bummer not having any "toys" for our rental. The price was good and my family had a wonderful time. The house was clean and had plenty of TV's. P.S. We found a joint in a drawer when looking for pen and paper. Better do a better job cleaning out the place between renters!

Amazing home, amazing booking experience

Last fall, I was in charge of booking a lake trip for 5 ladies. It was meant to be a "get away." I wanted a nice home in a great location, with full sun on the dock and great scenery. This was my first time using VRBO, and i did research on a handful of homes until I found this one. It looked perfect by the pictures. I emailed Marianne, and from the start she was so pleasant to work with, so amazingly accommodating and such a wonderful host. You could tell she truly wanted us to have a great time. I am not usually one to write reviews, but this experience certainly merits one. The home is in a gated community, and the drive up to the house is gorgeous. When you pull in the driveway and walk down the steps on the side of the home to get to the back door and dock...breathtaking. Inside the home is high quality, very tasteful decor, comfortable couches and beds, and plenty of room. Everything is very well kept and truly feels like a luxury vacation. The dock gets full sun, which was important to us as we were hoping to catch a tan. The water off the dock is deep, and we were able to run and jump right in. The neighbors to the right of the house were out and very friendly, and didn't mind that we had Kenny Chesney playing until sundown. I will definitely be booking with Marianne again next summer!! HIGHLY recommended!

Falsely Advertised!

While the view was gorgeous, we were misled as to what we were renting. 1- It was advertised that we were renting the Heron HOUSE. My guests and I were stunned to arrive to find out we were actually renting the BASEMENT of the house only. That is an absolute misrepresentation and it should have been described that way. Why would we spend over $1800 to be relegated to a basement when we could have easily rented an entire house for less? To add insult to injury, we had to access the property through the back door. Way too many reasons why that is not only inconvenient but insensitive. 2 - We purposely researched properties that included some kind of lake equipment to minimize costs. This house advertised a tandem kayak for our use. We arrived only to find that there wasn't one. I emailed the owner who suddenly remembered that it had been stolen. Again, false advertisement! She knew that it wasn't available. While the owner did credit us $75 for the omission, that was a mere fraction of the cost that we then had to expend to rent something to enjoy the lake. 3- While the "basement" was relatively clean, (we did find a nail clipper wedged between the coach and clippings on the floor) the outside of the property is BADLY in need of maintenance. The outdoor chairs were worn and absolutely filthy, some we didn't even want to sit on. In order to enjoy the view, we had to sit out there with literally hundreds of spider nests wedged in the bottom of the deck above us just waiting to hatch. There were cobwebs EVERYWHERE! We had to buy bug spray to spray the area just to sit there. The deck (which is all we had access to) and the entire house are badly in need of a power wash. Lastly, while I can't prove this is the fault of the owner, my guests and I came home with bites all over us that closely resemble bed bugs. All in all, I will not rent this property again. In the future, I will know to make sure to confirm that I am renting an actual house as advertised. The lake is beautiful and there are many gorgeous HOUSES to rent. It's crazy to be relegated to a basement for that price.

Not super kid friendly

I was unaware when booking that you just get access to the downstairs and the upstairs of the house is locked and closed off. The downstairs area is very nice and does offer plenty of space, was just unaware of the circumstance. The view is wonderful!! We did come with multiple small children and the yard area is not very kid friendly. Very steep and multiple stairs and rocky. We throughly enjoyed the dock and swimming. The closest grocery store is over 30 minutes away so just not super convenient if needing to run out really quick. Very nice of the house to have kid items including pack and play and high chair.
