The apartment was clean and comfortable for our family of five. The air conditioning worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the hot days. Our kids also enjoyed the board game provided.One small downside was the limited supply of essentials—only one dishwasher and one laundry detergent pod were provided, which wasn’t quite enough for a family of five staying three nights.The apartment is conveniently located near major attractions, but we didn’t enjoy the immediate street—it's narrow, had ongoing construction, several garbage containers, and what seemed to be a nightclub nearby. We noticed broken glass on the street in the morning.Overall, the apartment was very comfortable and well-equipped, and we would be happy to stay there again.

Verb stay in Madrid

in short, terrible. Apartment was extremely dirty towels all over the place, beds were not made and the toilets were horrible too. I had to msg the host manager several times to get it done. and clients could only go back to apartment after 4-5 hours. then kitchen light was not working and there was not enough toilet paper. I'm going to write another review on the vrbo platform also. And I disputed the charge on my CC. I spoke to Lovely and someone else in vrbo customer Service and complained and sent her the pictures as proof. She said that other than call the host she could not do anything. I am very disappointed as were the clients. I am not going to pay you until I get a partial refund for 1 night stay.

Great central city location in Madrid

We were in town to visit our college student studying in Madrid with our older teen/young adult children, and this was the perfect spot! Great location, with an easy walk to so many of the sights, metro, shopping and dining! Lots of space for our family, and the apartment was very clean. The owner was very communicative and helpful. There was some construction on the street but it did t hinder us at all. Highly recommend!

Very central location

My sisters and I were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We washed a load of clothes and it was very convenient to have the washing machine. I appreciated having the elevator.

Quiet but close to everything

We really enjoyed the location of this apartment. It was quite roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Getting in and out was easy and secure. Overall we were quite happy with this stay and would stay again.

Amazing apartment, close to everything.

This place is a hidden gem! Extremely spacious with all the amenities you could need traveling with friends, family or with children. It’s walking distance to everything in Madrid central and train stations. A very quiet oasis in the heart of Madrid.

Central location and clean property

My family of five stayed here - three adult children and me and my spouse. The place was clean and in a central location. If you’re looking for frills this isn’t your place - but if you’re looking for functional and convenient, it’s a winner.

A lovely spot in Madrid

We loved the proximity to everything! The apartment was lovely and worked perfectly for our family of 4. Unfortunately, there was construction going on right across the street so there was no view except of a construction site and we had to deal with the noise. I'm sure once it is completed the street will be lovely again.

Excellent American size apartment in downtown Madrid

Very big 3 bedroom 2 and a 1/2 bathroom flat in the most perfect neighborhood for walking and exploring downtown Madrid. We are a family of three with a seven year old and it was very comfortable. We had no issues during our stay and felt it was better than the pictures. When returning to Madrid we will definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment in good location but maybe a little suspect?

The positives: a great location near the museums, comfortable beds, quiet at night, lots of room and well furnished. Communication was good, and we received a front door key codes and lockbox instructions to enter and get the keys on our own, including early check in because it was not rented the night before. The negative: the shower drain was clogged so the shower backed up all over the bathroom floor. On the positive side, the owner sent a plumber to fix (he did) but not until day 2. (But also a positive in terms of being able to communicate with the owner.) The kitchen sink and one bathroom sink had no hot water (others were fine), but the owner says this would be fixed after our stay (needed a part). The electricity went out in the building (but not the apartment) on day 3 as we were leaving, which meant no elevator and no front door keypad to get in. Maybe that was all just coincidence, but it left me with the impression that the building might not be in great shape. Also, the kitchen is large but has almost no cooking utensils, did not come with basics (sugar, salt), and had no working coffee pot (could not be used because of missing filter).

Wonderful Location
