Great location, walkable to Gran Via, close to stores, cafes and restaurants. The unit was spacious and has everything you need. There is someone at reception if you need anything. Internet is not reliable, went down a few times.

It’s not a hotel but an apartment in an old style Spanish building that has been changed (at sometime) into self contained apartment. Room certainly not as shown on website, Maintainace is non existent- bedroom door didn’t close due to way fitted and bathroom door could only be closed if slammed repeatedly (joiner needed to make adjustment so door fits frame). The sofa bed is completely uncomfortable for adults and I guess kids also, mattress of such poor quality you could feel the metal frame underneath. Safe to say, little sleep obtained, glad I was only there one night. Shower head bracket hanging off the wall and bathroom mirror chipped and had seen better days. Also room maid was banging out door 30mins prior to us having to leave the room and was unpleasant when I brought this too her attention. Also rooms not the cleanest, found a previous guests toothbrush on the floor under bathroom sink !! On the positive side, nice traditional Spanish neighbourhood with nice coffee shops and places to stop for something to eat. Dia shop 3 mins away for any snacks / drinks / fresh breakfast breads etc. Gran Via a pleasant 10 mins stroll away so very handy to that, also tram station approx 5 mins walk away with good links to airport.

Building seems a little run down but the apartment was good. They had all the amenities you need plus comfortable beds. People like to talk loud on the street. Doesnt matter what time of the day or night. Good experience overall.
