Excellent location for central Madrid, just across from Sol Metro station. We had asked for a room on a higher floor at the back so that it was quieter, which we got and it was. However, we were woken in the early hours of the morning by the sound of dripping water. It turned out that there was some major water leak and we had to change rooms around 4am. We were given a much better room on a lower floor and overlooking the street below, however the street noise was much better than expected and didn’t really disturb us. We were compensated with free breakfasts for our stay, which were ok, we would describe as adequate. We had tea making facilities in the room, but there was no milk available. Staff were all very friendly and the room(s) were clean.

I had 4 nights in Madrid and enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I would recommend war plugs as there is lots going on in the evening due to the location. Ear plugs worked perfectly. Friendly staff and great location as lots of sites are not too far away so you can walk to them. Do by tickets in advance to the Palace, I didn’t so I missed out on a visit.

Hotel Europa is right on the Puerto de Sol, the heart of the city. Location is its top asset, but it also has a good cafe/restaurant, and friendly staff. Our room looked as if it were recently renovated. We had an enjoyable 3 night stay.

This is a unique boutique hotel in the heart of Puerto del Sol. So much to walk to and see. The staff was super helpful and arranged transportation to the airport for us. We used the restaurant a couple of times which was convenient. Walked to everything from that location. Because its in the heart of everything, it can be loud at night. Not continuous, but there were moments. It didn't bother us at all, but if you're a light sleeper and don't like a lot of action, this may not be your place.

This was a clean, updated hotel in the heart of Madrid. It was perfect for what we needed. Just beware that some rooms are on Puerto de Sol & there are people walking in the plaza & going to the subway 24 hrs thus earplugs are needed.
