Excellent hotel right in the heart of Madrid. As it's positioned just off the main road it is surprisingly quiet. Had a wonderful night's sleep. The only downside is there door to our room was right opposite our bed and wasn't soundproof so you could hear the other doors in the corridor banging in the morning.
How ever large room was massive walk-in shower. Large bed, but it was two single beds pushed together yet they beds have separate bedding so not made up as a double bed which was requested. Still made up as two single beds which wasn't ideal.
Reception team were very helpful and friendly.
There is a rooftop terrace bar but not the best. Little but tired looking and not really comfortable or romantic. The only let down to the hotel but there are several rooftop bars within walking distance that have better settings so went there instead.
Due to the proximity and the friendly team we would stay here again. I would just ask for a different style of room that doesn't have the door right opposite the bed.
