i would like a full refund and compensation, as i arrived to the place i phoned the number on the door as it was locked and was then told that all of the rooms were full and i would not be able to stay there, i therefore did not have accommodation that i had paid for but i also missed the event that i traveled from glasgow for which was a complete and utter waste of my time and money

There was someone fixing a leak from the morning and didn’t decide to tell us we couldn’t stay there at 2:30pm tried sending us to stay 30 mins from where we needed to be & the hostess was terribly rude on the phone swearing at me

The guest house charged me £194.39, and upon arrival I was told it’s fully booked and I will be refunded… it’s been a week of me chasing them for my money and the customer service guy told me I was marked checked in and out… I never slept there, but they are refusing with my money… I have sent them a notice and will be escalating this matter legally. Total scam and fraud! Don’t book. How do you take payment when you’re fully booked??? And if you’re genuine why can’t you refund people their money??? FRAUD!

DO NOT STAY the room we was given was a staff room with beds in the staff fridge had half eaten food in it and was a storage place for towels, toilet rolls and cleaning products. When we are arrived there was staff phones charging in the room the bathroom was smelling of smoke and when we left the hotel and arrived later on the room was smelling of dog and there was dog hair and marks on the bed and on the floor we was left waiting outside to check in whole watching staff leaving the room. Can only assume they was in the room chilling watching tv as their phone was left on charge by the bed.

Disgusting

Heavily overpriced because of events in area, shouldn’t be allowed to advertise as a hotel it’s a hostel. Check in is really awkward and there is no parking as advertised. Room or shower not cleaned

Appalling

Massively overpriced. Run-down room in a badly maintained, shared house (it's not a guest house). Would have been tolerable if the fee had been half what it was. Please stop ripping people off.

Dirty and uncomfortable in poor area

The exterior is perfect for Rats with bins overflowing I had to make several attempts to check in eventually an Asian girl who I cannot fault let me in and told me my room number with basic instructions for my stay. The building itself is like a building site and very dirty. My bedding appeared soiled and the velux blind was falling off. Six flies shared my room on arrival. The door locked ok but 45 minutes messing with the lock meant I couldn’t lock the room all stay. The windows did not secure shut. 1 positive the shower in my room was clean. The communal bathroom was filthy and stank as I walked past. Overall I am extremely unimpressed and would advise anyone against staying here.

Avoid this one

It appears one gets what one pays for, however the reception was a seemingly irritated person opening the front door and explaining how one locks the door and enters was never seen again. The shared shower on the landing leaked all night. The floors were filthy and the bedding was not fully laundered .. the bottom sheet had definitely been slept on the night or week before. I came away feeling unclean!
