Perfect little spot in Southern Tuscany

Poggio Bertino is a little hotel perfectly equidistant between the thermal baths of Saturnia and the medieval village of Montemerano. Spacious rooms, a sun terrace and a wide selection of local products for breakfast made this a perfect stay on my tour of southern Tuscany. Maurizio is a charming host.Also

We loved our stay here. Maurizio and his wife are so friendly and hospitable. Amazing hosts-from helping make sure our car tires were properly inflated, making dinner reservations for us at the Italian restaurant next door (which was very good) to making breakfast for us the next morning. Strongly recommend!

This plazwas wonderful and peaceful after our spa day. Our host was warm , friendly and inviting! He was also very knowledgeable and a wealth of information. Breakfast was delicious. He even went out of his way to go next door to book us a dinner reservation

A nice little hotel in the countryside, minutes away from Saturnia's thermal waters and breathtaking burgs such as Pitigliano. The staff was incredibely helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and had a big bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel especially to travellers on a budget

Excellent in all respects, highly recommended

We are driving all of Italy for 3 months, and this was our favourite stay. Beautiful doom featuring under floor cooling, and heating in winter. No need for air conditioning cool all the time with fresh air. Mauritanian was our host and gave us information on where to go, restaurants etc’. Parking, breakfast all excellent. Excellent stay.

This place is great specifically the service. Claudio goes above to make you feel at hoMe. Wished we could stay longer... its 6 minutes from the hotsprings.

The resort is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Short drive to the hot springs. When we checked in, we met with the owner and the son and the next morning at breakfast, we met with the owner's wife too. Very nice family, all are very helpful and friendly. Plenty to eat at breakfast. They've also made home baked pastry for breakfast which taste great. Easy parking, and just couple minute walk will take you to a nice very restaurant next to the resort. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect place to stay! It is very close to the thermal baths and surrouning towns and restaurants. It is kept very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious. Everything was fresh and homemade by one of the owners, Valy. Maurizzio, was also very kind and hospitable. We felt like we were staying with friends! The owners of this property are super hospitable, and very kind! Great homemade breakfast! Helped with restaurants, directions, and recommended me to stop at the small village of Pitigliano on my way to Rome, and it was so majestic, one of my favorite places in Italy so far!! Thanks for everything!
