Clean room, love the bathroom with the tub. Toiletries are in big bottles. Hot water and pressure is perfect. Shower room has water temperature regulator to soothe your taste. Hair dryer is provided and working salon style. The bed is comfy I had a very good sleep! Breakfast buffet is the best The choices are vast and tasty! Staff are friendly too! I’m a golden circle member and I’m always upgraded during my stay! ❤️

And don’t know why, but most male staffs at the front desk are extremely poor at customer service…they don’t acknowledge your request or concerns…I had stay here for two nights prior, so for my second trip, I asked the staff I’d like to have a cleaner room because the first one was filthy and the drain doesnt work…. He just ignored my request without a single acknowledgement…

This was our second stay at the Makati Shangri-La, and it reminded us exactly why we chose to return. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, genuine hospitality, and care from every staff member made us feel welcome and at ease. The front desk team was efficient and gracious, and they kindly accommodated an early check-in for my mom, which we deeply appreciated. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The amenities are wonderful, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the heartfelt service and the way they make guests feel cared for. During our stay, we experienced an unexpected medical emergency, and I had to take my mom to Makati Medical. The support we received from the hotel during that moment is something I will never forget. The manager and the hotel nurse were incredibly attentive and reassuring. The hotel arranged transport for us, and the nurse accompanied us to the hospital, assisting as much as she could. Their compassion and presence meant more than words can express, especially during a difficult and worrying time. It is this sincerity, empathy, and consistent excellence that makes Makati Shangri-La truly exceptional. My mom and I felt safe, cared for, and valued. We left with gratitude in our hearts, and we already know we will be returning again next year.
