We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a last minute trip and the host was great with communicating. The property was easy to find and the host provided great recommendations for the local area. The property was close to everything and we loved the walk to the small lake in front. The best thing was the view and all the amenities of the property. It was clean and looked exactly like the listing photos. We will definitely be returning and staying longer. It was perfect for the whole family including out two dogs that joined us - it's 3 mins from a dog friendly beach!

We had a wonderful time. Second time staying at Harbor Village. This unit was perfect for the two of us. Short walk to 5th street beach. Wonderful view of sunrises and sunsets! Only suggestion would be newer cookware for meal prep. Would recommend a stay here!

Compact and comfortable apartment in a great location with distant views out over Lake Michigan. Communication with the owners and the information supplied was excellent. The actual unit itself was challenging to find when arriving late in the dark. The provided towels were thinner and older than I had expected, and I was disappointed with the random selection and condition of the crockery and flatware. Generally an enjoyable stay.

Relaxing getaway

This vacation was exactly what we were looking for, which was a break from the hustle and bustle. We loved the walks to the beach and around the man made lake. We swam in the pool almost every day. The condo had everything we needed and the view was beautiful. We also really liked the town of Manistee.

For 39 years in October we have stayed in Manistee or Onekama to celebrate our anniversary. Never get tired of it. Friendly communities, convenient to TC, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Suttons Bay and sou h more. Great escape.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is close to the beach and very peaceful. As others mentioned it is in the 2nd level.

Our June Manistee MI Getaway

We have stayed at Harbor Village condos many times and this unit was one of the two best condos that we stayed in. We had great views of Lake Michigan and the man made lake including the many deer that we saw. This unit is also only a short walk to the beaches, marina, the pools and spa. We were also only a short drive to the downtown area that has many restaurants and a river walk. We were able to bring our little Pomeranian along with us too because they allow pets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We shall return. Thank you with a special shout out to Jessica of Boardwalk Vacation rentals for all of her help.

Great location, but needs some TLC

Great location, close walk to the beach. Arrived after dark and it was very difficult to find the building; there was very little lighting on the property and the building was not well marked. The bedding and towels had stains and several of the plumbing and electrical fixtures did not work properly. The condo has a ton of potential
.great space, great location, and loved the fireplace, but for the cost, it needs some updating.

Beautiful View

This place was great for a weekend getaway with my husband. The views were great, the distance to restaurants and downtown was perfect, the casino is nearby and the pool/hot tub are only a few steps away.

Great Location - Wonderful Stay

We rented the property for two nights to see the leaves change. The property was well decorated and up to date but a couple of cleanliness items stood out. The towels had stains on them and the utensil drawer was a mess with no organizer for the utensils. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view, but

It's been a very long time since we rented anything for a get away. We have been RV'ing for many years. This property has alot going for it. The view is wonderful and peaceful. The community itself is great for walking, the grounds are lovely. The indoor pool facility is fantastic. We really enjoyed that. The location is very close to town, which was a definite plus. We knew in advance this was a 2nd story unit, but was not aware the parking was not convenient when loading and unloading vehicle. Kitchen is very small (one drawer for flatware which is just thrown in the drawer without any dividers). This led me to wash everything before we used it. The can opener provided did not work. (Bought new one and left it for next guest). Also, no corkscrew provided. Sheet pan needs replaced. Don't plan on doing alot of cooking in this unit. No dish rag provided for wiping counters etc. The balcony was a great place to have coffee or just sit and relax and enjoy the view, but the deck, rails, walls of condo needed cleaned desparately. Bedroom was nice size and well appointed. Bathrooms were also nice. Half bath on first floor convenient. Again, it's been a long time since we rented vacation home so m y expectations might be to high. I'm sure these units get alot of us with the amount of guests they get. Lastly, the 4pm check in time seems late. I know the rates are "nightly". All and all , we had a nice time in the Manistee area.

Scenic view

My favorites from my stay—balcony, lake view, cozy fireplace, and location. Close to beach and town. I enjoyed running to the downtown and along the river walk. Many quaint shops. Highly recommend!!

Nice Stay

The property was as advertised and the views were terrific. It was the perfect size space for us. We did not find that the unit was difficult to locate as others had mentioned. The unit had pretty much all the essentials you would want. We stayed with our short haired pointer and were grateful we could bring her. I would suggest a more thorough cleaning of the floors/rugs in between guest visits. Our socks collected alot of dog hair that was not our own dogs hair. Despite that I would stay again!

Tons of steps which are busted outside the unit as well as some odd steps inside. Not well equipped in the kitchen as there were few utensils and only a few silverware. It's definitely an older unit and worn a bit but cozy and comfy for two people. While there's a nice view of water, it's the man made lake. Windows were dirty so view not as spectacular. Nothing at all to eat as there's a handful of places. And yet, Somehow it turned out to be a much needed nice break. Also, no cleaning supplies at all and walls are super thin so bring ear plugs

Lovely property with a great view

Our family of 4 + dog couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! The condo is spacious yet very cozy, and is nicely updated. We had everything that we needed. The view of the lake was amazing! Management was very prompt with replies to my questions. We look forward to staying here again!

Fun in the Sun

We had a blast! Great location. Walking to the beach and pool was easy. Easy drive into town for meals. The unit was clean and perfect for our small family. We really hope to come back again next year.
