Direct to Ocean! 3BR 2.5B Home with Private Pool, Bikes, Paddleboards!

Blue Shell is a delightful new canal front vacation home with a pool, just a minute to the ocean and open water and lots of fun amenities! It is also about 10 minutes from both Coco Plum Beach and Sombrero Beach.

The dock is 50' and there is parking on the side of the house for truck and trailer. Additional parking under and in front of the house, but not parking in the street please. Two vehicles recommended. Three max.

The pool is 24X12 and the depth is 1 ft at entry to 5.5 feet deep

There are two large grocery stores in Marathon (Publix and Winn Dixie) that are only 5 minutes away! Many delicious restaurants and fun activities are all within minutes! Centrally located, Marathon is only about 25 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park and an hour from Key West - both great day trips!

All 3 bedrooms are upstairs. All bedrooms have TVs! All linens and towels (both bath and pool/beach) are provided!

The Master has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and double sinks. There is also a private balcony with two chairs and a table off the Master that overlooks the pool and canal.

The 2 guestrooms share a hall bath that has a bathtub and shower. One guest room has a queen bed and the other has a day bed with a trundle (making two twins).

There is a queen sleeper sofa bed in the Living Room.

This property had everything your family could possibly. The pool was amazing and had pool toys and floaties to use. The sunsets from the top deck was a perfect way to end each day. The bikes and kayaks were also great to use. The kitchen is fully stocked and we never felt like we were missing something. The property was clean and very well taken care of. We will definitely be back!

just got back from a wonderful stay in marathon, we were 5 adults. Very good communication from host, listing was also accurate in every way. Having a home on a canal in the keys is a treat, we rented a boat for 3 days, recommend the cruise through Sombrero Bay and around Marathon, what a great day. Plus, we saw manatees almost everyday in the canal. The included amenities were very nice, we rode the bikes and kayaks frequently. The house itself was very nice, clean, and updated. Close to many things, only an hours drive to Key West and having been to the keys before and drove from Miami Airport, this is the way! Never again. Very close to grocery stores which we visited way too often but that's on us. The pool was awesome and the perfect temp, the manager recommended heat, they were right, agree to the heat for the pool, they also supply many pool floats and toys so no need to bring your own. The outdoor area overall was where we spent most of our time playing cornhole, playing cards at the very nice outdoor table, or lounging in the many loungers and chairs. There is construction going on nearby, this is an up and coming neighborhood, but the house is very soundproof so we didn't hear it while inside. I miss being there already and wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Very attentive and responsive property manager. Convenient location to all places in Marathon. Pool was well maintained, private from neighbors. Toilet paper and paper towels etc provided. Plenty of seating by pool. Great spot! Will be back.

Our stay was overall great. A few hiccups, but Merideth was quick to reply. Beyond the control of the property owner, there was a lot of loud construction in the neighborhood. There was no barrier from the road to the pool area, which was a bit of a surprise and made us feel a little exposed. But by the end of the week, we were used to it. There was an odor in the home which I know was most likely due to being on the channel. However, after a few days, we adapted to it. Again, not anything the owner could have done. Just something to keep in mind if you have people with sensitivities.The area was great (highly recommend Porkies and the AMAZING mini golf) Lots of good snorkeling and the Elks Club at the end of the block is a blast. Overall wonderful stay!

Great stay!

We had a great stay! The house was in the perfect location, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and relaxing. We absolutely loved the outdoor space and totally vibed with the setup. Inside, the décor had a charming beachy Keys feel that made it feel like a true getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Marathon stay

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable - plenty of linens - beach towels, etc. Bait freezer is a definite plus. Pool is very comfortable in the morning but a bit warm in the afternoon - plenty of pool inflatables. Grill is clean and easy to use. Canal is very narrow - we had a 27' boat and had great difficulty turning it around every day - scratched the cowling on the motor because of width - keep that in mind if you have a larger boat. In the kitchen, owners need to invest in steak knives - very few sharp knives to cook with - pans need to be replaced - teflon coming off pans. Unit has an odor when you walk in - maybe previous smokers - couch is holding odors. Maybe replace with vinyl or leather so odors are not held. Pineapple Properties (Meredith) was very receptive when contacted. We appreciated this. Just a few minor changes would increase this rating to a 5 star. Thanks for your hospitality. Vicki

Amazing place for our family!

We are so happy we booked with Pineapple Properties! Meredith was quick to reply to my silly questions. The house was clean and well stocked! We loved the kayaks and games in the house and being on the canal gave us unlimited fishing and fun! This was our first time in Marathon and we truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this property!

Clean and quiet home on a canal

Overall, we enjoyed our stay on this property. It was very clean and the space was adequate for a group of 6. We enjoyed the private pool and outdoor/indoor games and other amenities included. It was a quiet street minus the rooster who liked to sing at all hours. My only callout would be location - it's a drive to any beach and upon driving into the street it appears very rundown with some of the other properties. We always felt safe though.

Awesome place

We loved our stay. Our group was 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids under 12). The house was clean and very well stocked. The included bikes/kayaks/games were a nice extra. We rented a boat and the dockage was perfect (tip for future renters with boat: the canal is tight for turning your boat around- we found that backing the boat up upon return, all the way down the canal is much easier than turning around in the canal). The pool was awesome (pay the extra for the heat- so worth it). Maintenance manager, Pete, and property manager, Meredith, were extremely helpful and responsive with questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect House for all of Us

The property manager was great, thanks for taking off the chillenator; we're from Florida and like the pool warm..we loved having a private pool to ourselves. The house was pretty and clean. Not sure how we would get the kayaks in the canal though so we didn't try. I understand Ring security but the one pointing at the pool was a little invasive feeling. Thanks to the cleaning lady for being so cordial and cleaning early to let us enter a little before check-in. The house was conveniently located to everything we had reserved to do. The beds were comfortable. Thanks for being so accommodating to my inquiries. We had a great time!

This is a very cute well decorated cleaned house with a nice private pool. The pool has lots of loungers and chairs for everyone . The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking appliances and towels. The neighborhood is in transition to rental homes but it is very quiet and safe. It is also close and easy to get to several groceries stores and drug stores. We really have enjoyed our time here and would rebooked this for future visits.

Beautiful Blue

Blue Shell is a perfect home away from home for vacationing in the Florida Keys! Very clean & decorated beautifully with lots of amenities for relaxing & fun in the sun. Complete with a small pool, bikes, kayaks, outdoor grill and plenty of seating areas. Great for a family of 4 or two couples. One minor downfall is the street and canal are very narrow for turning a boat around and trailering/parking a larger boat. Smaller boats are a better fit for this property. Overall this home will not disappoint!
