Very beautiful and very quiet. Great spot everything is 10 minutes away just like at home. Had to leave a day early due to autistic child being home sick and out of routine but had a blast. If your a homebody and like the quiet seen this is heaven. The views are beautiful

We booked a room at Rainbow bend for two nights, July 4th and 5th. My wife and I brought our three children with us and based on the pictures online and reviews, we were really looking forward to staying here. I cannot begin to describe how disappointed we were with this property. I truly believe many of the positive reviews left for this place are fake reviews. Upon arriving we walked around the property. When walking out back to the pool area we found the hot tub was closed with a sign from the state of Florida saying it was unsafe to use. The entire back smelled badly from the seagrass/algae. Once we opened the door to our room, we were greeted with the strong smell of musty odor. There was black mold scattered throughout the room. It was very clear mold was painted over in spots, with a dehumidifier running full blast and the air conditioning cranked up high to try to rid the room of moisture. There was walking broken apart, a hole in the wall, and the room wasn’t very clean in general. I walked back to the front office and spoke with Elena, who apologized and to her credit, did offer us a full refund for our stay. My guess is this is far from the first time a guest has been upset. I went back and spoke with my wife, and the two of us frantically searched for vacancy anywhere. With it being the 4th of July, there was no hotel within 75 miles that had vacancy. We were stuck for one night. The owner did apologize, but this place is unsafe.

Not worth the money

Wouldnt stay here again. Paid $501 a night including 5th person chrg and resort fee during 4th July weekend. Our shower water was a trickle and never gets hot. Need to take 20 minute shower with back on the handle to equate to a 6 min shower at home. Asked a couple other people at the motel and they had the same issue. Pull out sofa did not pull all the way out nor go all the way back in so it wasn't comfortable as a bed or sofa. Breakfast was supposed to be included which was choices of eggs/pancakes/french toast with sausage or bacon or 1 type of cereal. While we were there they didnt have pancakes, bacon or sausage and the cereal box had bugs crawling out the bottom. The "juice" is flavored lemonade. The hot tub was out of order. There is also a very strong smell of sulphur due to seaweed at the hotel. On the plus side we enjoyed the kayaks, the corn hole and beach chairs. The 2 bedroom stays cool and has a large fridge for use. Grounds are clean and do have a friendly staff. As a side note unrelated to the hotel..Marathon Florida is 105 miles from the Miami airport but takes 3 hours due to traffic anytime between 11am and 7pm.

Beware photos from hotel are photoshopped. No fault to them but you can smell they were flooded in the past. Bring a candle and or spray. Upstairs might not be like that. Beautiful view. Great location. No onsite laundry. If you stay under the restaurant prepare yourself for the upstairs noise. Clean room. Reasonably priced! Escargot and wine was good!

The staff at Rebo Bend was awesome. There were helpful every single time I had a question. The bungalow rooms we had were beautiful, totally updated, clean, and relaxing. We plan on coming back soon. One of the best vacations I’ve ever had. I would give this 10 stars if I could
