The small port town of Marina is located in the west of central Dalmatia and about a 7-minute drive away. The region is famous for its olive oil, but the regional wine and fishing have also made a name for themselves far beyond the city limits. Both Bijeli Galeb beach to the northeast and Marina beach to the east are great for sunbathing and swimming, and thanks to the crystal-clear waters, a vacation on the Adriatic is perfect for snorkeling. For even more culture, take a day trip to neighboring Trogir (17.6km). Trogir is also called "museum city", because here one historical building follows the next. The entire old town has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cultural center of Trogir is John Paul II Square with many famous sights.
