We enjoyed our stay overall and found the home to be comfortable and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and appliances were well-equipped, and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs along—something that is becoming increasingly difficult to find with many rental properties. We didn’t spend much time using all of the community amenities, although we did enjoy a couple of games of billiards, foosball, and both of those tables seemed brand new. We stepped out onto the upstairs deck a few times, and breathed in the nice fresh air. The location worked well for us, with Asheville being an easy drive for dinner and activities. If you’re not familiar with mountain driving, just be prepared for the elevation changes and winding roads, and allow a little extra patience getting up and down the mountain. A couple of minor observations: the air inside the home felt a bit musty at times, and a few of the washcloths had a slight mildew odor. We also noticed that the master bathroom door didn’t fully close. None of these items significantly impacted our stay, but they may be helpful for future guests and the property owner.Overall, this is a nice property that appears to be well cared for, and we appreciated the opportunity to stay here.
