The septic tank must have been full because there was a constant smell of sewage outside, and we could not leave the windows open. We had difficulty with the toilet not flushing properly, the kitchen sink was gurgling very loudly, and water collected in the shower pan so we had to use the toilet plunger to get it to go down to make it functional. By the end of our three days, the bathroom smelled like sewage as well. When I told management about the issues, they said sorry for the inconvenience. Certainly for the price, I would have expected better. Also, there is a step in the bathroom out of the shower and off the toilet that is not disclosed in pictures. It was a hazardous set up for my handicapped father who experiences neuropathy in his feet. We specifically chose this property for his safety over another more updated one, and I worried about him getting out of a wet shower and slipping. It looked better in the photos, but it felt somewhat misleading.
Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2023
