Our favorite

This was our 4th time staying and it’s always great. All staff have been pleasant and helpful - from extra towels for our group of 7 to recommendations around where to eat. The kids have a blast in the pool and the gym is just what we need for getting in extra steps during our road trip. THE BREAKFAST though! The best! My birthday boy always gets his favorite - waffles & berry sauce. There’s also options for grab-and-go. The coffee and flavored waters, available all the time, out the exclamation point on our experience. Would recommend 10/10

The property was maintained incredibly well for something of its era and fit in well with the rest of the area, which is a time capsule. But a very well kept one, it's tasteful, not everything. The same kind of sign tasteful, but rather a very naturally tasteful neighborhood. The hotel has. The best staff. They are so kind and always helpful and busy. There's constant work being done, but it is the type of place that would suffer if it were staffed lightly and it was nice to see that at least on the weekend it was fully staffed

Last minute booking

When my original booking fell through because of the rooms condition I found this hotel. I was impressed with some of the amenities such as free beverage bars in the lobby. When i I got to the room I found that the tv wouldn't turn on. This was also an obviously double room but there was only one chair provided for seating and it was a swiveling, armless office chair so my 94 yr old mother had to sit on the bed. I mentioned the fact that the tv wasn't working to the front desk when we left for dinner and the response was to let them know if it still wasn't working when we returned rather than doing something about it although the front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. Of course it was still not working when we returned but was late and my mom wanted to retire so I didn't pursue it other than to mention it the next day at checkout. The breakfast was great and the room was clean and quiet. I would stay again.
