My family of 6 stayed (kids ages 15, 14, 12, & 10) stayed here for 2 nights. Place was clean. Had the necessities to cook dinners and breakfasts. Place was quiet and we were able to relax on the porch in the evening. Full sizedwasher and dryer were helpful.
Overall, had a great stay here! Only negative I can think of is the WiFi wasnât working. However, we werenât there all that much just a morning with rain. Loved the openness and the porch to be able to sit outside in the shade was awesome! Loved staying here and would stay here again! Also, itâs great to know we have a place to stay in the future with our fur babies as well. Thank you for having us!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean. The drive to town was about 5 minutes by car. We went in May, so the campground only had a few spaces occupied. We found the property and cabin dog friendly. The host's communication was good. The weather was our only challenge! But, it was nice to have a dryer to dry our soaking clothes after exploring the Park.
Enjoyed our stay at this property about 3 miles from Medora. Great access to the national park and I94. Appreciated the clear communications with the property owner. Quiet and clean.
We enjoyed our stay at Cowboy! The place was clean and well maintained. The check in/out process was super easy. The locations was great with easy access to the town and the national park. Previous reviews indicated the places are close together which is accurate but we didnât mind it. We would absolutely recommend and stay here again.
Property was in excellent condition. The only issue (small one) was there was a pickup from the RV site parked right in front of the steps to the cabin. Very quiet & comfortable.
My family planned a visit to Medora to visit Teddy Roosevelt National Park and see the Medora musical. The site was very close to the town center. The cabin was great and was perfect for our family. The views from the property were wonderful. For people who like to hike and bike an added bonus is that the property is only about a mile away from the Maah Daah Hey trail! This is a beautiful and extensive trail that is very accessible.
I would definitely plan on coming back to this property if we come back to the area.
The property was as beautiful and peaceful as the pictures suggest, with spectacular sunrises over the bluffs. It's amazing to be able to walk or bike right to the Maah Dah Hey and access miles of Badlands trails within 15 minutes.
The cabin itself was totally fine. The queen bed's mattress needs replacing as one side has a giant sag. And we really had to ration the hand soap and TP provided. I also recommend watching your step walking around the property as other guests were letting their dogs run and poop freely. But these are minor complaints and I'd happily stay again (though probably not in a season when the RV park is at full capacity, since some RV spots are right up against the cabins).
Wonderful location with nice views and perfect for a visit to TR National park, It was comfortable and quiet even w other camper units nearby. Would absolutely stay here again.
Our stay was great. Plenty of room and close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Only complaints: the Wi-Fi was not at all reliable. Also the requirement to wash sheets and towels really interferes with our ability to hit the road as early as we wanted to.
Had a few issues checking in - Didn't know te cabins had #'s on them, which would have been helpful ahead ot time. However, once we got settled, we had a great time. Cabin was very nice and clean and had alot of amenities in it that were great. Overall, a very positive experience and would stay there again.
