Pros: great location (close to Medora and the South Unit of TRNP), and they take dogs.
Cons: Was not informed we'd be sharing the space with a Fifth Wheel. Photo is deceiving - it's really an RV park that happens to have some single wide trailers. Fifth wheel was parked a few feet outside our windows blocking any view. It was basically clean but there were some extremely dusty/inoperable venetian blinds, plus hooks/toilet paper holder that only had one screw so they tipped. Also, owner asks that you do your dishes, take your garbage to the dumpster, start your laundry, and call them to let you know you're leaving. I've never experienced those kinds of requests at any other VRBO. There was a vacuum in a closet and we joked that they'd also ask us to clean the floors before we checked out.
Housekeeping: need to dust blinds and tv., clean frig, and BBQ. No soap in bathroom. Oven and stove cleaning, dog hair still on carpet in living area. Need more places to hang towels in bathroom. Only one dish towel and dish rag. Need to clean dish drainer. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay
Beautiful view right outside your cabin! Nice porch to enjoy your meals and the view. Enough room for 6. Good location to the town and Rosevelt National Park. We had a great stay! Thank you
We are avid National Park fans. This was our first trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and selected the Boots Cabin due to is proximity to the park. It was wonderful! Spent every night on the covered porch listening to Meadowlarks and coyotes in late evening. Very peaceful and would highly recommend for anyone wanting a secluded location.
Had a great stay at the Boots Hunter Cabin. Great to work with and everything was as stated. Very close to the golf course and everything else Medora has to offer!
Came to ND to complete bucket list of visiting all 50 states! Medora offers great variety of nature and entertainment. Cute town. Boots Hunter Cabin was the perfect size for our stay and offered a nice place for the dog. We rested well between our activities!
Very nice little cabin near Medora. Loved the deck and grill! They could use some TV trays or something because there are no end tables. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Very nice place to stay with all the amenities and close to town without the crowds. A little different setup with RV hook ups right next to the cabin but we expected it and was no issue with our stay. Would recommend!
The property was easy to find and we were able to park the camper next to the trailer so we could set up a seating outside to visit without others driving through the area.
We like the cabins, they are close to Medora but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Also enjoy the small deck on the front of the cabin to enjoy the fresh air in the mornings and evenings
I was so impressed with our cabin! Everything was very clean and organized. There was a bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom had two twin beds. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics you need to cook so you donât have to eat out for each meal. There is a washer and dryer which is super nice. The front porch where you can sit out and relax and enjoy the beautiful view was great. I will absolutely be looking to stay here again!
The location of this place was fantastic for our short trip to the Medora, ND area! It was so close to Theodore Roosevelt NP (South Unit) and quick and easy to get to town and to the NP. It was perfect for our family of 5 for a few days.
