Perfect family beach vacation

We brought 4 generations of our family to this wonderful home located on the beach. The views/sunrises from the porch and many windows is spectacular. We had 2 small problems when we arrived, contacted the host who responded quickly and they were taken care of by the next day. (1 of which was a new refrigerator,not an easy task to take care of so quickly) The home is well stocked, perfectly situated in a residential, quiet neighborhood, close to gas, groceries, and restaurants. I would highly recommend this home and hope to rent it again ourselves next year!!!

Blue water and wonderful accommodations

Beyond the property is the property owner who was extremely available to answer any questions and even check up while there. The house is just as pictured. Very spacious and perfect for our multiple family group. With all of the fridges and washers it is easy to accommodate a group. The kitchen has many items that are extra like air fryer, crockpot, some spices. There are so many nice touches like having chairs and umbrellas, towels, beach toys. The beach was like having your own part of the ocean. Very private. The wild life and places within a short distance to enjoy are wonderful. I highly recommend Melbourne and thank you for a wonderful stay!

Location

One of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed. Sunrise and Moonrise over the ocean was beautiful. It lace was plenty large enough for my family of 10. Everyone in group told me it was their best vacation ever. Nadia is a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and helpful. Thank you Nadia for making our dreams come true!

Great Family Beach Retreat

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving in this lovely home. There were 14 of us ages 3 months-69 and there was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. for our full Thanksgiving dinner. The home is quiet and the beds comfortable. We had a lovely time walking up just a little ways to an area park that has a great playgound and pickleball courts, did a lot of fishing on the beach and our sons spent hours surfing right outside the home. A local photographer came and took family photos so we can treasure our time in Melbourne for years to come! We had a great family reunion! Thanks, Nadia!

Perfect reunion house!

This property is GORGEOUS. The beach is stunning, you can watch the beautiful sunrises with your coffee and enjoy the waves all day. We were pleasantly surprised that all the bedrooms are quite similar, it worked so well for the family reunion. Having one large master upstairs and one master downstairs made it easy for us to split our costs - little more for the master bedrooms and besides that, all the other rooms are so evenly alike that no one felt slighted. Maybe that’s too much family drama for a review on a property, but with a big fam reunion in a big house like this, that stuff can come up. It worked so well for our needs, it was clean, the host was a fast communicator, it was a lovely quiet area - definitely not a party zone, just quiet beach but some restaurants and shops not too far off. Bring bug spray bc the sand fleas can become a nuisance, but only early morning and toward dusk in our experience. All day on the beach was fine. Everyone is our family agreed it was a fabulous vacation, my sister even saying it felt like a dream. If we decide to go back to Melbourne, this will be the house we choose!!

Lots of space, beautiful views

Our family has stayed in this home 3 times now. We love the amount of space it offers, the huge open area on the upper level that encompasses the kitchen, dining, and living room areas, along with the beautiful ocean views from that area and from the deck. All of that makes up for some noticeable wear and tear in the property (e.g. wobbly handles on some cookware, a few burned out light bulbs, etc.)

Beach Vacation

First off Nadia was one of the best host we have experienced in the years we have vacationed in Florida. The house was very spacious and the beach was very peaceful, a great place to come and not deal with the normal hustle and bustle of the beach towns. With that said the house needs a little tlc. Nothing major but compared to other houses we have rented it just wasn't at that same level. Small things that a handyman could fix and update and the house would be great. Overall though a good experience

Great stay on the beach.

The view of the ocean is spectacular when you walk up the stairs to the second floor.Makes you feel like you are on a cruise ship.Beds are VERY comfortable and kitchen is equipped very nicely. Natalie the host was very responsive on a small issue.Plenty of room for the 14 of us.

Great house, great location, great vacation

This was our 3rd vacation to Melbourne Beach and we are never disappointed with vacationing here. The house and private beach make it very relaxing and enjoyable. The House: -Perfect size for a large group. We had 11 total, 4 adults and 7 kids. Plenty of room for all of us. -very clean and had everything we needed, to include beach toys (although we did purchase some new items because the existing were old/not functional) -great view and direct access to the beach -we saw Sea Turtles every night right near the house. -Nadia was quick with communication and quickly addressed some minor things we noticed after checking in. The only negative of this property is the water. The water smells terrible and it’s not just the water supplying the outside rinse off zones - it’s all water faucets in the house. We never drank the water as the taste and smell were both very foul. Now, we understand that this is normal due to the well system and rotting vegetation seeping into the water — but, the homeowner should install a filtration system in the house as this was a big turnoff. We’ve stayed at other houses in Melbourne right off the beach without this issue. I’d also recommend that the homeowner walk their house and inspect all lights and other functions/amenities in the house as there is some cosmetic upkeep needed. All in all - we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

This was our 2nd time here. A few issues with sulfur water and broken washers but Nadia responded and did her best to compensate. Two new washers were installed right before we left. We would definitely return for another time.

Would i go back ? No. The reason is , its not a tourist place absolutely nothing to do! The beach was great , Nadia was amazing. The House itself is very outdated and could use lots of updating and cleaning.

Cockroach infestation

The house would have been fine except we started finding cockroaches within a few hours of our arrival on April 2nd. We emailed Nadia about this the next morning & she informed us that the house received a treatment for roaches the morning of our arrival. Even though Nadia knew there was a roach problem, she did not communicate this to us until we found them for ourselves. Nadia had no problem warning us about the sand flea issue on the beach (which we appreciated), not sure why she felt a roach infestation wasn’t something that guests should also be warned about. To be clear these were German cockroaches not Palmetto bugs. Nadia offered to send out pest control on Monday to put out baits. We agreed to that & the pest control company told us that we may see a roach or two for a day or so but they would be slow & dying but we continued to see roaches everyday of our stay throughout the house. They were not slow & dying. They were fast & we had to kill them! We expressed our distress & how it was negatively impacting our stay to Nadia & asked for a partial refund under these circumstances. She informed us that she doesn't do refunds & this roach problem was contained to only one kitchen sink & there was no problem in any other portion of the house. This was absolutely not the case! We found roaches in both living areas, in 2 of the 3 upstairs bathrooms & in the upstairs kitchen including on the kitchen counter. Nadia told us that the roaches probably came in with another guest & this could happen to any hotel or vacation rental & all she could do was to try to contain & eliminate the roaches. Nadia & I then spoke on the phone, & she said that VRBO would help us find another comparable place to stay & she would refund our money for unused days. I spoke with VRBO customer service & was told that we did not qualify for any assistance from them, & we had to resolve our issue with the owner directly. When I told Nadia this, she told me it was at her discretion to work with guests to resolve issues & she would refund our money for unused days if we wanted to check out. Through our own research, we could find nowhere else to go. Our only options were to stay & deal with the roaches & try to salvage our vacation or leave to drive 1200 miles home. For the thousands of dollars we paid for this rental, having to deal with roaches & worrying about bringing them home with us & with not even a warning or an apology from Nadia is unacceptable & ridiculous.

Giant beach house on a secluded beautiful beach!

Giant beachfront home, every room was enormous. Our backyard was a beautiful and secluded beach! Two separate living spaces upstairs and downstairs gives big families the ability to separate. Quiet neighbors, close to grocery store and restaurants. Home was super clean upon our arrival, plenty of beach toys/boogie boards for kids and beach chairs. Just needed some good beach umbrellas. Front door was tricky to open, but Nadia quickly assisted us. Mattresses were uncomfortable for some. No issues with sand fleas and we saw a variety of wildlife which made our time on the beach even better. Two laundry sets and 2 car garage were nice perks. Great selection of kitchenware and cutlery were provided. Needed more shampoo and conditioner for all the people this big house can hold.

Melbourne Beach- Review

Nadia was east to communicate with and also checked with us if there was anything else we needed. Property was very clean. Large open concept area great for large groups. Sand fleas were a problem but we were informed of that issue by Nadia and also a page in the house at check in. Just be sure to spray for them before going to the beach. Very easy and close access to the beach.
