after arriving, checked in and sent to the neighbour building to stay in a “deluxe one bedroom apartment”, which was far from felix. Room had mould and an awful wet dog smell. we felt with it for the first 2 of our three nights until it became unbearable. Also when speaking to the reception desk to request fresh towels for the pool, they declined and told us we only get the two towels in room. also no bath mat or additional towels provided. third night we requested a better room due to the smell. they were able to move us to a slightly better room but still felt far from deluxe. only pro to this place was the location. but even for the price we paid, i still feel ripped off. definitely not suitable for a family.

Place was smaller than expected, quite 'compact'. But after you get used to that, the place was neat and functional (if you're okay with drinking wine from non-wine glasses and having limited cutlery and crockery), and staff were attentive.

Every negative review written about Arrow apartments is correct. I just hope others read the negative stuff before booking. You will be in basic, old, smelly tiny rooms. We booked the DELUX 2 Bedroom apartment.Website images are not true, or they have one renovated room for the photos. Our room had worn carpet that is lifting and a trip hazard, odd old and cracked floor tiles, aged fridge that didn’t get cold ( other reviews complain of the same problem). Hole in wall near the sofa bed, cracked shower glass and grout with mould in the shower. No plug for sink. Dishwashing liquid in an old water bottle with NO labelling.( high risk for children accidentally swallowing). The chain for blind was broken from the wall bracket ( a child hanging risk). Paint work is patched up and the aged furnishing of op shop quality.No mattress protectors, one had an old doona cover the other a very old blanket under sheets. Doona was paper thin and torn in numerous places. Previous reviews complaining about the bad smell in lift area. There is a garbage disposal shute next to the lift.It smelt like a week old dead animal. Reception knew about it but said there’s nothing they could do. There is no ventilation, it’s a health risk. This is a sub standard accommodation and should not be permitted to use the word DELUX, nicely appointed or any words referring to it being nice place. It is basic, old uni accommodation. I pity the the poor students that have to live there.
