I have stayed in the property previously. It is an older-looking motel-like site with most rooms located in an open-top area. I have noticed some good efforts to update the rooms to make the stay more enjoyable. However, this last visit did not go as expected. People were smoking on the stairs in the open-top area and flagging it with the staff did not seem to do much as it continued happening later. The room itself could do with a fresh coat of paint on the walls and the shower temperature was inconsistent for some reason. Also, I had to ask for new sheets as the sheets provided were stained, but staff were quick to come in and resolve this.

I have to give 5-stars from a value for money perspective. The location is excellent, and the price was reasonable. Was a bit busy at check-in and check-out (I used a “kiosk” to check out). Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

It is close to Crown Casino, Southern Cross Station and Marvel Stadium which makes it a great central location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms aren't soundproof and can be noisy at night.

Good location it is just a short walk across from southern cross station & the airport bus stop the crown casino & sealife are also within an easy walk the breakfast was good value & while it’s an older hotel we found the large rooms & full size bathtub great & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Initially the room they gave us had central AC which I could not operate and I was feeling suffocated in the room. But when I notified the reception, immediately they changed us in another room on another floor where I can control the temperature myself. The tram service was nearby. Overall the experience was great.
