Wow!!!! Where do I even begin with Big Cypress Lodge? The sheer novelty of this place is incredible a stunning natural themed lodge inside the iconic Bass Pro Shops Pyramid. Let's start with the staff. Every single person I encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From the enthusiastic welcome to the attentive service throughout the lodge, their passion for hospitality truly shines. They always had a smile and were eager to assist, making you feel like a valued guest in this truly unique environment. Then there are the rooms. Absolutely stunning! The rustic yet luxurious design is immersive and so well executed, especially considering you're nestled inside a pyramid! Waking up to the unique views within your room or overlooking the surrounding area is a treat. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the comfortable furnishings to the nature inspired decor. It truly feels like a special and unexpected escape. And let's not forget the Bass Pro Shops store itself! Having this incredible retail experience literally steps from your room is fantastic. It's not just a store it's an attraction !! Filled with an amazing array of outdoor gear, unique displays, and so much to explore, it adds a whole other dimension

WATER PRESSURE is beautiful…I love comfortable accommodations, and this was wonderful without trying to nickel and dime you. They DO have a refrigerator in room with a microwave available on the floor…I hate when hotels sneak in stuff like coffee/ utensils/ no refrigerator, so you can’t have your leftovers. I’m frugal, but not “cheap “. Hubs and I got 2 rooms with 3 teens. Not Bass Pro ppl, black. Did not utilize restaurants in site, but used Uber often + breakfast buffet day 2. Louisiana, so it takes a LOT to impress with food 😆. My kid and his teen friends had a wonderful time at bowling, and the hubs would have paid for a second hour if there was not a waiting list (Saturday). Our weekend was a good balance of education\fun. If you are newlywed, the room is nice enough to “stay in” if you are a homebody, and the resort is close enough to explore Beale, if that’s your thang❤️. FYI…both me and hubs are chill, but I enjoy the option of gym, trails (BEAUTIFUL one close) although hubs is different. We had interior rooms and loved them. I’m funny about food, so I’ll try it, but just because “ critics “ say it’s good doesn’t mean I’ll like it…so do you with the cuisine. They’re are many options, and I love the variety!!! Hope this helps you!

We enjoyed the stay. Some things I did not like was the price of a drink. I thought we were at a concert. Small mixed drinks $15. A beer is $10. Considering the cost of the room I thought it was a little much. The coffee was horrible. It was so weak. I expect better for the price. Also the breakfast is something you would get for free at a cheap motel. They wanted $25 dollars for it. We don’t mind payin
