We absolutely LOVE the Agate Cove Inn. Susan welcomed us and quickly showed us to our room. She suggested several places to eat and reminded us that daily baked cookies were in the coffee/tea area. Our three-day stay also provided us with an amazing breakfast! The breakfast staff people are friendly, welcoming and talented chefs. We have been frequent visitors to Mendocino since the mid ‘90’s. It is the perfect place for us to unwind and recharge. We have never stayed in Agate Cove Inn before, but this will be our home base from now on!

We had a wonderful stay wish it was two nights. The room was clean and lovely. I couldn’t find anything to complain about. We loved our patio and looking out at the ocean. I was so happy they had a Tesla charger it was slow but sufficient. We especially loved the breakfast that was a real breakfast with meat and potatoes and made by order pancakes. Also being able to sit there and look out at the ocean was as unexpected and a lovely surprise. The one and only thing that wasn’t a big deal was we couldn’t find any towels. We told the staff and it was handled. I would never try to find the hotel at night. Oh and the restaurant the pub downtown was great too! It seemed like the only restaurant in town we did something really fun and sat down and had dinner with strangers there was no available seating, so they we agreed to sit at a table with people we didn’t know! It was fun spontaneously getting to know four other people. I think it could be a little more updating but nothing worth mentioning.

My mom and I had an amazing stay here. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the property is simply beautiful. The buffet breakfast is probably my favorite i've ever had. Definitely try the Chia Pudding if you can, it was delicious!

Room is wonderful , with the best views ever ! It has. Cozy fireplace , couch , comfortable bed , its 50F out and the room keeps warm and cozy with a little help Of the fireplace at the beginning …bathroom is good … it could use a little more art on the walls and standing light near the couch / table area for the evening . Lovely property. Dining room has great ocean cove view. Room was neat and clean, nicely-furnished. Bare pergo-style flooring was cold and could use a couple rugs. Beds very comfortable, good breakfast, although the addition of muffins or danish would be nice.
