The location can’t be beat and the staff is wonderful. The pool and common areas are nice. The shower situation isn’t great, it takes a long time to get hot water and water pressure is poor. I would still stay at this hotel again because everything else was great. But I wanted to mention the shower because I know some people would be annoyed.

Some issues with the breakfast options - hotel and linked restaurant need to explain this better but otherwise tasty and staff do try. In room safe not fixed flat battery, room doesn’t have any chest of draws to unpack . Mosquito spray for room needed. Best aspect is location and overall god value.

This charming old hotel is located in the heart of the historic town center of Merida without breaking the bank. Convenient parking two doors away and a small pool to cool off after a hot day. Enjoyed four days at this hotel and would stay there again in the future.
