Normally there is a free, reliable shuttle and the hotel is close to the airport. This time I arrived at about 9 PM to the airport on a Sunday night and no one was at the Riazor shuttle office, I called, and another customer and I waited outside the door. Then after being on the shuttle long enough to be at the hotel we were suddenly back at terminal one to pick up a hotel employee. The passengers who had already been picked up there were not pleased. They could not believe we were still not at the hotel. When we finally DID arrive, the restaurants were all closed. This could and should have been avoided if we had not made the extra trip back. This is a hotel and the first priority is to the guests. I got no dinner and was too tired to complain but the guy who waited with me at the airport was complaining loudly when I went up to my room. People coming off of flights need to sleep AND eat. I choose this hotel because normally I can rely on the restaurant to be consistent to provide good food without having to venture out alone at night as well as a clean room and transportation. Didn't deliver this time, and I certainly was not the lone person on that shuttle. It was full.

Staff is always attentive and friendly here. And hourly shuttle to/from airport is very convenient. Pool is also a plus. Good for overnight stay but neighborhood isn't for tourism.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff from the front desk, room service, housekeeping, pool attendant, security and shuttle driver were all very hospitable. Excellent service with a great and friendly staff. The place is clean and easy to get to from the airport 10 to 15 minutes. Use the shuttle from the hotel and you will need to schedule them to pick you up and drop you from airport to hotel. Use their taxi service for a safe city exploration and they will also pick you up.
