Great hotel! The staff were extremely nice ! The room was a great size and the location was safe. The restaurant on the first floor was amazing with fresh juices and food. Having a rooftop pool and gym was a plus!

Nice and unique hotel, loved the complimentary coffee and alternating water/ soda/ alcoholic beverages in the lobby.the one issue I had was that I choose and paid full price for the balcony suite. Well I was expecting there is a balcony or a full size window resembling a balcony, I just wanted a room that looked like the picture for the “balcony suite” on Expedia . But I got 2 ordinary windows, one in each room. Not a big deal, but I paid for something I did not get. That was disappointing but after arriving on a red eye flight and waiting 6 hours for check in, by the time I got in the room,I was too tired. I just didn’t care to complain anymore.

The Umbral was an amazing property within walking distance of El Zocalo and all of the shopping and dining in the area. The Umbral is beautifully designed and my room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I look forward to staying there again soon.

We stayed at the Umbral Curio Collection for 7 days and it was perfect. The best asset this hotel has is its staff. The moment we walked in to the last minute everyone was attentive, polite and very professional. The hotel is very well located. The rooms and bathrooms are very big clean and very comfortable. Might have been only where our room was located but it was a bit noisy. Good hotel,comfortable and very well located. Will go back

Location and quality of the hotel is great. The pool pictures are not what you see when you arrive. Pool pictures are very deceiving and not true to real life. Restaurant staff are very rude. My bill was literally thrown at me
