For three of our five day stay, the condo was not in proper working order as described in the listing. There was no hot water in the unit, which resulted in only partial use of bathrooms (cold showers only), partial use of washer/dryer (could only wash clothes in cold water), partial use of kitchen (could not sanitize dishes using hot water or dishwasher). For this reason, even though we understood it was a building wide issue, we believed we should have been refunded some of the total cost, which was quite spendy, not including the daily resort fee, as we were not provided with all the amenities listed in the listing.
The property managers refunded us the resort fee only, for the 3 days we didn't have hot water, stating it wasn't their fault, or offered to let us leave the condo early, but where would we have gone at the last minute for our remaining 2 days in Miami?
I don't feel this is very good customer service, especially considering we had to force a 7 and 11 year old to take cold showers daily. This really messed up what would have been an otherwise really nice vacation.
