Great stay overall. The apartment is a very cute one-bedroom with a huge balcony and nice partial ocean view, and the location is right in the heart of South Beach. The unit was clean, well stocked, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with.Just be aware this is a lively area — there’s a popular bar downstairs and you’ll hear music until around midnight, and the pool can get social as well with people that were at brunch. We expected this based on prior reviews, so it didn’t bother us even though it was really loud, but it may not be ideal for early sleepers or those wanting a quiet retreat.If you want to be in the middle of the action, it’s a fun spot. Also recommend making a reservation for drag brunch downstairs — worth it!

The moment you walk into the place you are staring at the crazy big balcony as large as the indoor space. You do have an ocean view from the room and the rooftop views are amazing. Windows surround the entire condo and everything you need is within walking distances. There is a bar downstairs below that’s lively day and night with great drinks and food. It can get loud at certain times but we used a box fan and had no issues going to sleep or resting at other times. We loved the skinny mirror also lol Host was great and was there if we had any questions. We will definitely come back.

The NOISE was unreal from The Palace Restaurant below. The review said there “may be some noise from the bar downstairs”. It was so loud we could barely sleep and the porch was useless after about 2:00 in the afternoon because of the shows below. Great location but not a great stay for that reason alone.

Our host was great. Super communicative and so nice! The condo is really comfortable, clean and beautiful. While it is over a loud bar, it didn't bother us at all. If anything, it added to the atmosphere and fun of being on Ocean Drive. The balcony is the absolute best!

BEST Place to Stay in South Beach, 100%

AWESOME CLEAN, MODERN, and WELL MAINTAINED condo. Great location with views of the ocean and South Beach Ocean Drive. Great people watching, especially when the PALACE bar Drag Show is going on. The Awesome king bed and two sleeper/couches were plenty for our group of 3 and could have done 4. The deck is BIG. I did Zoom meetings out there, we had breakfast and enjoyed sitting and relaxing on deck. Even took a nap on the outside couch/day lounger. Bathroom very modern and kitchen good for the 4 days we were there. Be ready to hear music by 11:00 from the bar and they party all til 1:00am+ it was FANTASTIC. Palace bar was fun to just go downstairs and the Rooftop pool bar was great for mornings and sunsets over the city. Hotel staff very accommodating and the host was VERY responsive. Will stay there again in the future. Middle of South Beach action makes if fun to be there and walk everywhere. Go to Azteca Restaurant, Bad Ass Ice Cream and Mama's Pizza. All within 3 min walks (really). Palace Drag Show was lots of fun. You need reservations. Also Walgreens close by. Next to Versace Mansion and near Art Deco Museum too. ENJOY IT and enjoy the crowds that gather right below you. They are fun to watch. If you are a night owl or like to party, there is no other place to stay.

No AC , unhelpful host

Our 4 night stay had no AC the entire trip. Constant attempts to contact host were made only met with false promise that issue would be fixed. No attempt to provide window AC or portable AC units were made, mind you this is south florida. It got to be over 90 degrees in the unit. No attempt to offer relocation or refund.

Awesome Place

Daniel is an awesome host, easy to communicate with and responds quickly. His place in an amazing location, and the property is better than described. The patio area is definitely the highlight! Thanks again for letting us stay Daniel!

Property was described accurately. In addition we were familiar with the neighborhood. We found the property management team (Strand hotel) to be upbeat and friendly. Daniel the owner was responsive to our questions and was very accommodating. Very happy with our stay. Look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful place with amazing patio. Prime location on Ocean Dr.

It was a beautiful place. Came in with a welcoming complimentary bottle of wine for us to enjoy our stay. The patio was very spacious to enjoy some time outside without actually being in the large crowds on Ocean Drive. The pool upstairs has the incredible view of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was I nice bonus! It was prime location to go to the ocean and bike on the paths through Lummus Park for many miles and to walk to varied options of restaurant and bars. The only problem is you will not get sleep until after 130 am due to it being directly over The Palace restaurant which is a very famous drag show nightly and draws in huge crowds. Yes it will be noisy until after the shows are over. Key Tip: Ubers get confused on where to pick you up even when entering in the Palace address and pinning yourself on Ocean Dr. so the best bet we learned is to walk on Collins for the Uber and have them pick you up there. Daniel made sure we had everything we needed, let us check in early and replied very quickly to all questions. We had an amazing weekend getaway!
