Nice Location But Needs a Refresh

The location of the hotel was perfect and the complimentary breakfast hit the spot and the parking is free. However, the hotel is dated and needs a refresh. The toilet in our room did not flush without holding the handle and there was mold in the shower. The paint around all door frames are chipped and the hallway carpets are worn and dirty.

For a Hampton Inn, this was disappointing. No one was at the desk at check in . The carpet in the halls was disgusting.. It was either very dirty or the ugliest carpet I have ever seen. The room was nice and clean. The beds were pretty comfortable. The breakfast was very disappointing. Eggs they had both days were not good. Milk tasted watered down.

Adequate for our situation. Room was clean.Front desk friendly. Building shows its age. Parking a bonus. Shower needs hot water. Located in close proximity to medical centers & shopping at Dadeland Mall.
