The mattress was uncomfortable, and the room overall didn’t feel well maintained. The floor was not cleaned properly, and having only one small trash can for the entire room was inconvenient. The front desk staff could also be more professional. Not the best stay and definitely needs improvement.

Mild mold odour in the lobby. Very strong mold odour in hotel room. Had to change to different room. Air fresheners/deodorizers seem to be used to help mask mold odour. Hotel needs to be tested for mold contamination.

I asked for a room with the balcony. They promised that and a bottle of wine-nothing! Restaurant was dirty this time. Staff was wonderful but unable to move my room although no one was I. The rooms I requested!

It's a nice / clean property at a walkable distance from the beach. Rooms are clean and convenient. They have a nice restaurant with the hotel as well.

The staff were very friendly, I loved the happy hour (free drink for guests!) and restaurant, and the room was very clean and came with robes! I also loved the iced cucumber water in the lobby. The walls are a bit thin, we were woken up by people coming and leaving their rooms, but otherwise it was a perfect stay.

Firstly, I love this hotel. It is stylish and just nice enough at an afforable rate. The staff is always professional & helpful & fun. The bartenders are always super cool and I am grateful for my birthday treatment (Thanks to "D" at the front desk & The day bartender sorry I forgot your names :) ) & our breakfast was lovely. I was a bit disappointed with my room this time though. I stayed here last year and the mini bar had much more stock and my favorite Saratoga water. This time I had to go ask specially just to get 2 plastic bottles of purrified water. I brought my friend this time and had talked up the hotel on this point, becauae we prefer to only drink spring water. I don't know if the management changed or what but I hope you go back to putting more than a can and a bottle of beer in the minibar fridge. The room bedding was not on par initially ( and this was fixed ) but housekeeping was kind of hovering as my friend was trying to leave for dinner and it could have been handled a bit smoother. I want to make Hotel Croydon my go to and partner with promoting your business as i stay in town. So, I hope things are more up to par next time...like providing your guests with water in their "superior" suite or period. Overall lovely location & front desk staff. We appreciate your efforts.

Staff were very nice and welcoming. Hotel had plenty of great amenities to offer for guests. Bar/restaurant had a variety of options to eat/drink, good but not very flavorful. Long waits for elevators. Room was your typical hotel type of clean, had a bit of a smell. Air conditioning was iffy at times, toilet paper was terrible, and no microwave. Other than that everything was fine.
