First time leaving a review ever. I’m posting this so other families don’t book this suite expecting it to truly sleep 4.
Day 1: The sofa bed wasn’t just “uncomfortable”—it wouldn’t lie flat and the center folded/sagged, creating a “dropping” feeling. When I complained, staff said no comparable rooms were available and told us to move to a lower room with no price adjustment (as we booked via Expedia) or stay. After pushback, they offered breakfast the next morning. That night we got one rollaway; I slept there while my wife and our two small kids shared the king bed.
Day 2: We moved rooms, but the sofa bed had the same issue. Staff said it wasn’t “broken,” so I asked the manager to come. He refunded the first two nights, told us to use two rollaways, and arranged a technician to review it the next day.
Day 3: The technician added an extra mattress, but it still wasn’t sleepable. I requested rollaways again; after multiple calls, we were told they had run out in the late night. I ended up stuffing towels into the sunken area to level it enough to sleep.
We booked this higher-priced suite to keep our family together; at this rate, we could have booked two standard rooms elsewhere. I can’t speak for other room types, but this suite clearly has a serious sofa-bed issue, and basic requests required repeated calls and follow-ups. We still paid the last night and resort fees for all 3 nights. The refund was appreciated, but the service and “Sleeps 4” claim were unacceptable.
